April is stressing me out so much with the new releases! Way too many that I’m highly anticipating 😆

April has too many romance releases! 3 of my most anticipated ones are all out on the same day - Sarah Hogle, Abby Jimenez, and Sarah Adams. Beyond that, I can’t wait for Chloe Liese and Emily Henry’s new books, plus I’m intrigued by Yulin Kuang.

The way I RAN to redownload Fable after your intro

While I enjoyed Swift & Saddled, I was not a fan of how the heroine was talking herself down the whole time & the hero was kind of written to help her work out her issues, it felt like we didin't get too much depth into Wes' character because of that. I agree with everything you said about This Could be Us. Kennedy Ryan is just a phenomenal writer. I'm also definitely joining your bookclub 👏🏼🥰

I really need to need Kennedy Ryan's books. They all sound so good.

Kennedy Ryan is amazing! I just finished Long Shot, it was a hard read but so worth it!

April Releases i'm excited for: King of Sloth - Ana Huang, Funny Story - Emily Henry, Mafia Devil - Mila Finelli, The Kiss Countdown - Etta Easton, and Older by Jenifer Hartmann

Just for the Summer was sooo good. I do prefer Yours Truly, and I think you might as well, but it was my favorite book of March!

Sooo many good books!! March and April are just GIVING THEIR ALL on new releases and I’m here for it! Just read The Fake Out - that you recommended a few vlogs ago - and loved it!! Apart from the obvious popular ones that are coming, I’m Super excited for the new Chloe Liese book Only and Forever!! Do you plan on reading? Her Bergman brothers series is really great.

Here are my anticipated books for April: Old Flames and New Fortunes by Sarah Hogle, Funny Story by Emily Henry, Wild Love by Elsie Silver, Pirate Girls by Penelope Douglas, King of Sloth by Ana Huang, Draw Down the Moon by PC Cast & Kristin Cast (listen I read their House of Night novels in the early aughts and just wanna know what‘s up lol), The Stranger I Wed by Harper St. George (start of a new historical romance series by her).

Happily Never After sounds so fun 👀

My most anticipated releases for April are Here We Go Again by Alison Cochrun and Late Bloomer by Macey Eddings. My favorite book of the year so far, The Prospects by K T Hoffman, is also releasing. I read an arc a couple weeks ago and can’t stop thinking about it. It’s got baseball, a rivalry, an adorable service animal, and tons of queer joy. What’s not to love?

I read Meeting Millie because of you and loved it. I was excited to see Tempting Olivia out but I agree, this one didn’t connect with me in the same way

felt the literal same way about happily never after. i was super upset though because i was super excited. i felt like the pacing was also kinda off :/

You sold me on the Kennedy Ryan book. But I'm going to circle back to the first book in the series first.

My only issue so far with Swift and Saddled was the insta love Wes felt for Ada. Like he started talking about how he felt strongly for her early on(like the days after he met her) which I find rather weird. I'm ok with there being sexual attraction but like the dude had barely known her to start saying territorial stuff or how his heart feels. Done and Dusted did also have sort of insta love but I was able to overlook it since the characters did know each other since childhood. In this book though I can't necessarily forgive it. Other than that I'm happy with the plot.

where's the personlized rec feature on fable?? can't find it

I feel like Lynn Painter writes a solid beginning of a romance and it falls off in the second half or last third. Her books always start out as 5 star predictions and then they get 3-3.5 stars from me by the end :/

Love the video. However, seems like the speed is way to fast.

Pirate Girls by Pen Douglas is my most anticipated release, not just of April but the whole year tbh. I‘ve been waiting for the romance between these characters for literally years… excited does not even begin to cover how I feel 🥹
