Water distribution plastics usually get sooo much scale and they were not bad and I was thinking that there was going to be separation on the evap coil. And they were also good. Great video Super Dave!!!!

Great video! Did you check the stem on the float switch to make sure it’s not cracked? I run into that a lot when doing PMs.

I love the simplicity of those Hoshi KMs, not so easy to clean though. And I don't know what you pay for the water pumps over there in the US but they're bloody expensive here in the UK, circa £800! A customer wrote one off when they got quoted that.

Do these things have a drain solenoid? I have a KMFL 250MAH that drains the water as almost as fast as it comes in and no ice production

These kind of jobs are fun, a pump like this are so expensive , Here in Montreal they go for about 650$ to 750$. Ice machines fun to work on, For those of you who eat ice. lol descale is key.

Is that 100% solution in the spray bottle? I was told to use a rag and soak it with a little solution then hold the rag on the thick scale part so that it foams up then brush at it. Does this spray method basically do the same thing?

I mix it with water. And it looses up the scale , I scrub spray scrub.

Do you ask before you film or do you just film? I'm trying to start some of my own videos doing some Hotside and Refer work but honestly kinda worried I'm going to get some kick back from the customer for trying to film

Don't ask. Just keep the camera time to the mechanical issues. And if they do pitch a fit just leave their name , logo, employees out and they really can't do anything.
