Incredible! That's why a freewheel is better than a cassette I suppose. I just installed a 1000w bafang with that cassette and had to add a spacer to get it to tighten up. I got another non bafang with a freewheel been using it for 6 years no problems till I just burnt it up pumping to many amps into a 500 watt. Was fine with 30 amps but just could not take 40 with the load I subjected it too.

Heat gently applied expands the part allowing the bearing to come out as it doesn't expand as much, putting bearings in the freezer gets them in easier as they contract with cold *in a plastic bag to keep moisture out).

Unfortunately this motor was in a right state - even after replacing everything it was still quite loud. Camera is far away but zoomed in ;)

I have the Mahle x35 motor on the Orbea Gain, would my hub be similar to this one. Thanks.

Hiya similar but this is a 750w fat bike motor so it would be much larger. Haven't opened up a Mahle motor before but very likely the same with planetary gears etc. but maybe helical cut instead of straight cut gears to reduce noise.

Great videos 👍. How many kilometers or miles you should grease the planetary gears??

Sometimes 3000km sometimes 10,000km! It depends what level of power you run... 250w with 60kg rider will last longer than 750w with 120kg rider 👍

Hello, can you tell me how many revolutions per minute does this 750 watt motor have? when it has not passed the gear ring?

Hi so there are no magnets in 750wat hub motor I think that's why they have good free wheel if I'm using display sw900 and asks for how many magnet it's zero is or not can you please tell me thanks os you done a great job on the motor 😊

How many miles was on this motor? At what point do you get your moneys worth out of it and just get a new motor?

This was not worth it. The bike had about 500 miles but it was left outside for a very long time - I put way too much time and effort into this motor!

If you just immediately order bearings and clutch when you see the condition it's in and replace everything in one shot it is really not much work at all and costs well under $100. If you have to pull everything apart 3x that's another story.
