The fact so many of Andy Land's works revolves around the passage of time and the cyclicness of it (the Birthday videos, the red and yellow couple and this game) makes me think that Andy either has a deep fear of time or has fully accepted his mortality.

Still,Mellow (the dude in the cap,I think) is a W character,mainly for taunting the clock after beating it to death,and being such a calm character (If you don’t know,Mellow said to the clock “Get clapped,Clockey.”)

This is such a good demo, what a strong first impression. It's got this right balance of old point and click games with the lurking sense of something being wrong just beneath the surface. Some great humor too, this got more laughs from me than I'd have ever guessed.

As a child of the '90s, I am floored with how well this game nails the Humongous Entertainment aesthetic in its interactables and writing. Like I'm genuinely surprised there aren't Pajama Sam alum on the project. Definitely an easy back for me, I think this shows immense promise.

I agree. The animation on the main character is great too. It's a unique style that still feels similar to those old HE games. It's also more reminiscent of something more specific, but I can't remember what.

100% agree. Also love the little easter eggs like the egg with teeth from pajama sam on the painting

The highscore jumping from 2 to 61 gave me a chuckle what i like about manly is that you never know the ammount of time he spends behind the games he plays

To me this game seems like it’s about abuse. The creature in the kitchen looking for the kid with a bat, the toilet creature saying “they really hit you hard this time, didn’t they?”, and the weird tinkerer behind the painting keeping his wife in the basement. I can’t wait to see more of this game

Manly moving the mouse around during the musical number made me laugh. It was really schmooving.

I don't know who the author is but their music slaps, i could replay the doctor song forever. The game is also extremely charming, i hope it gets big!

It's Packtion! It's also said in the beginning of the game. Packtion has made quite a few music for Andy before and it's how I discovered them, they make some really good stuff. I even discovered the game's soundtrack BEFORE I even stumbled on the actual game lol

The respawn mechanic whenever henry hits him is kinda cool instead of actually respawning it cuts to what your character was thinking with the comment “what An intrusive thought” signaling his memory just kinda dissapeared

I like how artistic people are often talented in more than one art, e.g. this guy: drawing, programming, writing and music. That surgeon song had real Daft Punk vibes & I loved it. Although excruciatingly dark since he sings about how he loved two people at the same time, so instead of spending time with one and leaving the other, he merged them together into a horrid creation he calls "beautiful". Scientifically, it is very beautiful. But visually, it is the farthest thing from such.

Oh this was an absolutely adorable demo! It really feels like the exact fever dream kind of stuff I would have had in the 90s, even as a supposed horror game. It's interesting to see combat similar to Punch-Out in a game like this. I like it and I hope the full game gets realized.

I’m good friends with Packtion (the person who made the ost for the game) and I was so happy to see them involved in such a promising and interesting demo, I can’t wait to see where it goes in the full version. knowing them we’ll get even more amazing tracks like the doctor’s song in the future!

I think what I'm most looking forward to from this game is the musical numbers. Like, I didn't really think much about it when the doctor started singing but then the soccer part happened too and now I just want it for the soundtrack. 23:06 and 26:46

Andy Land always makes something emotional... Even his KZread shorts are really giving you feelings that makes you understand a lot about-.. world?

The music in this game is phenomenal especially the robot doctors song, that took the cake for me.

1:40 for those who are wondering, that face is based off of a product where children could deposit their money while that thing stares you directly and chews the coins with its mouth. Parents tought that it would be a funny prank for their kids. Although there have been reports where children said that the face was "stalking" them with the look in the middle of the night.

Man, Pajama Sam scared the shit out of me when I was a kid, too, so this is perfect. Maybe I was just too easily scared, but something about falling through a portal in your closet really got me. If anything, it made me more afraid of the dark lmao.

This is such a fun and creepy looking game! Can’t wait to see more once the game is completed!

This game does have a lot of soul. This game hits the spot in a way recent games haven't in a while. I was consumed into this universe, a fun universe.

I love how charismatic and full of… how do I put this? Just lively in general this game is. It’s so good.

Just the name Pajama Sam instantly brought back so many childhood memories. I played so many of those CD-ROMs, like Putt Putt, Spy Fox, Freddi Fish. My mom bought me a bunch of those games, likely lead to my interest in video games to this day.
