​@@guisampaio2008 A LOT of "pixel" stuff actually uses high-res assets, causing some "pixels" in the game to become larger/smaller or even disappear altogether as they move onscreen and the "pixel" grid is moved across your screen's actual pixel grid. This is because while the pixels appear to fit on a grid on your screen, the game does not follow it. Sprites being able to rotate or shear or sit between pixels of the background especially is a dead giveaway of this. If a character can move in such a way that they cover only part of a background pixel, the game is actually running high-res, just with low-res assets.

24:30 The code you get for the well looks like the ASL alphabet. I went and checked and they match to letters in the ASL alphabet. The letters they match are I, L, B, O, and X Edit: I think the code spells I love box

When I first saw the hands were trimming hedges, I didn't register they were gardening. I though it was a rock paper scissors joke, and they were all crazy running around with real scissors. I'm sure there is a Edward Scissorhand joke in all this.

in ff11 back in the day, we had a saying "no matter your level or gear there is a bunny out there that could kill you" ppl took it as a joke untill they ran into a high lvl rarab (bunny in ff11) and it murdered them, due to its high eva and attack speed.

I didn't knew that in Monty Python was a killer rabbit. But horror games with rabbits became popular after FNAF 3 game where Springtrap was introduced.

The game seems to be made by two brothers and one of the them is doing most if not all of the work (art, animation, coding...etc ). The dev(s) are very talented but also very ambitious. I think they're hoping to get enough money from the sells of the first chapter to hire other people to help them during the developement of the other chapters.

I feel an immediate sense of ease from how this game reminds me of old computer CD learning/kid games, and bc of the bunnies too of course bun bun

This game looks promising and I love the pixelated art. Hopefully the creators don’t overwork themselves with putting the game out in chapters.

yikes, i have nothing against their development plan nor do I even know how far along the game is but you gotta have a really stable team to pull off so promised much content. a lot could go wrong y'know the usual biting off more than you can chew, it happens to the best of us. i wish the development luck cuz they're gonna need it to get this thing out smoothly

Absolutely loving the graphics and the effort the devs made to animate the cutscenes It looks stylish and has lots of character in my opinion!

I enjoyed watching the demo! The art style's pretty great (especially the animation towards the end), and the story so far has me interested in the game going forward. Though, I'm concerned about this being an episodic release. Hope things go well for the game and the team.

i adore the spritework and animation in this. it's so well done. i also love the plot. it feels fresh, even tho it is cute horror which seems kinda overdone. this feels different. super stoked.

So in RPS, I'm pretty sure rock is actually the psychology-based winning move. It initially does the thing you described, which steadily makes the opponent nervous. And if the opponent is nervous, they become far, far less likely to pick paper (the one thing that can beat you), as it requires them to open up, something people instinctively don't do when uncertain about things. Meaning if you keep it up, you'll get wins or draws every time.

Okay his game is already so unique in premise, really captured my attention and intrigue. It’s a new angle that is truly unexpected, I really hope things work out for the team and that will everything goes along smoothly!

True, but chapter games can help the creators get feedback from the fans before moving on to the next segment. I mean, look at Deltarune. Still pays to be cautious, but so far this seems like a pretty awesome passion project.

Ive noticed that Manly always has a notepad nearby when he plays to don't miss any details that might be important later, not a lot of letsplayers have that dedication I think it's really cool :)

The different color letters are based on the font. Always the same letters colored. Don't know for certain, because I haven't fully parsed it all out, but my presumption is that it's alternating purple and white. A is white, but B is purple, C is white, and D is purple. E is white but F is purple. These ones I know for sure, though I haven't bothered to confirm past F, since "3's a pattern" and all thst

Dude, the pixel art in this game is top notch.

This game reminds me of the old 'Glover' game. So this felt like the after years, in a more peaceful time. I like what they've made so far!

There's something about the speech sounds and the text popups/loading text that reminds me of Petscop, and that's a great thing.

Hang on, you're a Left Hand in the minigame but a Right Hand in the overworld...

I love how manly puts his hand in front of the mouth to narrate characters with masks

One of the best Harvest Moon's is on GBA, Harvest Moon: Mineral Town iirc. I think it was remade 2-3 years ago for the Switch, makes me curious how good it is. But the game was very popular and still is. Though normally "Day 1" is the month and day, and season that is shown at the start of the day. This game uses soft pastel colors, like Easter barfed all over the place. I like it.

the art in this game is really really pretty. you don't see a lot of pixel work like that

Love the presentation here, the visuals are quite impressive. The variety in the minigames is great too, particularly for just a demo. It helps that even in this short time they manage to build up some good scares. Definitely interested in seeing the first episode's proper release.

I think the actual game is gonna be like The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks where it turns out this shadowy creature stole the likeness of the garden bunny and got rid of her so now you have to help the original to get back and set things right

It always makes me sad when I pause a video to go buy a game, only to realize the game isn't fully out yet. ;_; Nothing against this game or creator, but getting burned by early access shenanigans once is more than enough. It'll sit on my wishlist until it's done.

I love the way Manly says "bun".

What's really interesting is that after you do the gardening, the player glove gets closer to being the same color as the other Handy Pals... Until the well. The eye patch difference seems rather important. And finding what caused that to happen is probably a key story element. Got a few guesses: That Skye is not the 'real' Skye, but something pretending to be her. Whatever is in the labyrinth is what caused her to lose her eye, and she's in 'denial' mode/it's a 'unreal' version of the farm (everything is fine as long as you believe it is), which makes some amount of sense. Boxers is ALSO a creation of Skye, the box is his head. (Can't be her brother, since he called her mom). Key detail is the implication that Skye created the other Handy Pals. Might also explain the difference/feeling. Only the player character hand can leave with Skye because reasons. Like being more 'real'. The color shifting is something akin to 'playing the role', why 'breaking' the script reverses it. Then there's the details on how you enter is via a computer program (guided by what is apparently the same type of being that is chasing Skye elsewhere). So Skye might be a literal sentient video game character. Or... a ghost trapped in there, being a literal Bunny Graveyard, albeit with not many 'graves'. The demo could also be a bit more in the middle of the storyline. Where you're actually rescuing your friend Skye who cannot really remember you, trapped in a Lotus Eater type setup. (The dialog does imply you are there for 'her'.) Not really enough details to nail down the possibilities.

Well this game looks like it is just my typ. But yeah the episode idea can backfire pretty hard. (Looking at you BATIM -_-) I hope it's going to be a great little indie game. the episodic release plan has me concerned, normally when you do that you get diminishing returns especially considering how much time passes in between releases.
