You forgot a small, but important detail: every single character (exept maybe Kagami and Felix who weren't in the show at this point) appears to have severe brain damage.

So you've noticed it too! Chloe's character has clearly been butchered. Not just her redemption arc, but I mean...look at her in season 1! She really had some genuinely funny moments! She wasn't just spiteful 24/7, she wasn't just cruel, she wasn't always a Satan of this school! She was capable of being funny and useful and nice, she had so much more flavour to her character. And I can't believe Astruc tries to manipulate the audience into thinking what we've got is what she was intended to become, like it all was according to a plan and no personal spitefulness towards her character was real. What a BS.

Oh,thank goodness! I thought I was the only one. Yeah, I agree. Chloe was a bully, sure, but she was never THAT cruel in the earlier seasons. I mean, you can see the change in her character in season 1 and 4 drastically. When I watched some of season 4, all I could think was "That's not Chloe." Personally, I think Astruc had Hawkmoth and Mayura kill real Chloe and replaced her with a sentimonster in Miracle Queen. It's the only explanation I have as to Chloe's character assassination.

I would have thought that the character of Chloe would soften a little without necessarily becoming "nice" like 80% of the cast of the series during the development of season 2, but becoming a sort of voice who would say obvious or sarcastic things. when things become necessary. 🐝 A sort of Karen Walker (Will & Grace) capable of all possible twists and turns minus the alcoholic side! 😅

Season 1 Chloe was just to funny tbh, like the difference is in season 1 she just serves her purpose bully someone, they get akumitzed, Chloe gets her karma in the end. And like she still does stuff with the class sometimes like in timetables and this episode she was with the class outside of lessons, she was also at marionettes b-day in the season 2 finale. But in s4-s5 her character gets butchered sm not only does she return to her s1 self who was sometimes still funny she turns into someone even worse and annoying (she’s also suddenly more stupid then she ever was) like alr you butcher her redemption but also how she was before that redemption?💀💀

The mayor only hated it because his own child wasn't in it . Thats why

I liked this episode because it was literally just the class. Episodes like that tend to be a lot of fun because then we get to see what the kids are capable of when they have absolutely no adult help at all.

Isn't the whole show about how adults are useless or evil? But yeah, this episode is at least fun, like most season one episodes. I can forgive a show (mostly) if they at least show they're having fun. Do not get that later, but that's another story...

I found Ivan and Mylene looks really adorable together, the wholesome couples. Honestly, I don't think Mylene deserves all the hate. I feel bad for her though

This was my least favorite episode before I started to not like Miraculous anymore. The pacing was awful because it only took halfway through the episode for shit to go down and what they did with Horrificator was kind of a let down. They could have made her powers be that she haunts people with their personal worst fears like the Grom from Owl House but instead it’s just a slime monster. I guess it lurks in the shadows but that’s really it it seems more like a sci fi alien thing than a horror thing.

Funny that you mention it, when I started watching Miraculous (I believe it was 2015) this was the episode after which I stopped watching it till I got into the show (or so to say, the fandom drama) a couple years ago. I remember when the episodes were in korean first, and after watching this one I was like..."ugh, it's so boring somehow? It's clearly not what the PV-trailer promised me", and I dropped it lmao

Oh, Hawkmoth is easy to explain, obviously he realised his new minion needed fear to grow more powerful, so left her to feed on the school kids there while he detransformed and went to get a coffee and bagel, so a delicious treat to have while he waits for his minion to power up before fighting Ladybug and Cat Noir. Then when he came back with his lovely treat, he realised something was wrong, quickly transforming(and dropping his Bagel) to monologue about how he'll finally beat Ladybug one day(truly that dropped bagel was the unknown victim of this episode)

This is my first episode my little sister was watching it I thought they knew about each other's identities at first due to it being very obvious

Zoe would go on to be the same way years later.

I like this episode cause I love horror movies and this episode perfectly parody them 😂😂😂. Not to mentioned Nino was kind off a jerk in this episode cause its technically his film yet he left it last minute and expected everyone to help and I get the feeling that Marinette did a lot of begging to get Damocles to let them use the school and probably everyone else too for that matter.

This episode made me dislike mylene. Im sorry, but she was going out of her way to ruin the movie. She knew it was a "horror" movie, yet she choose to be in it?

I used to watch Miraculous when I was living my dad we had regular TV at the time and this would come on our cartoon channel and we would watch it every day after school

I litterly can’t wait for the next season

The biggest thing I realized after watching multiple miraculous ladybug review videos is that the more you look into this show, the more you try to make sense of it, the more it loses its humor and logic.

I'd assume that the quantum masking allows the users to access their civilian voices whenever they want to maintain their identity.

Definitely some dumb moments in this episode but it’s definitely one i like regardless (before the ending). I really like episodes where the whole class has to work together. I don’t even like Nino much but he’s surprisingly funny in this episode, from his reactions to LB and CN showing up to him showing the (dumbass) mayor the movie. Justice for the movie goddamnit!!

So I'm about to watch it but one thing that start with me when I saw this episode and got me blocked by Thomas on Twitter was that no one can get in or out of the school during the akuma attack and the only ones that were in the school after hours were in marinette's class which really narrows it down to each other is

I miss season 1 Chloe, like sure she was a bully and pretty flat, but in compare to the monstrosity we have after season 3 finally, that doesn't even have good catch phrases

Alr hear me out, don't u guys find it funny that someone has to stay mad for like hours before the butterfly can akumatize them. It's like they want to get akumatized, a theory of mine

The whole show is absurd at its very core and every mlb fan knows it (atleast the adult ones). For me, mlb is my fav cartoon show and I'll probably watch it until it ends.. but I can't deny the fact that its so absurd it makes me wish I liked something else (like the narrator said that he feels like an idiot for even liking the episode in the first place.)
