I remember the footage from the rescue helicopters. It was very cold, somewhat windy, and snowing. Many life rafts were turned over with people sitting on the edge... in their underwear... they woke up and made it off the Estonia only to pass away from exposure. It was terrible. There was a lot of talk afterwards about ships with the ability to raise their bows.

@@SimUKReviews also there was a brutal murder on it. Wasn't me as I was about 4. Still weird to think I walked those corridors looking for my mom, were it 10 years later, we'd be dead.

Thanks for the vid. Nothing to see in this game though. No interiors, no life, no story, just an exterior model. Why do they even bother to create something like that? What's the point? Will we ever see an actual modern ship sim? Too many questions I guess.. :D

Quick question sim about ships at sea now i know its early but ia it just me that has the problem where the boat goes under the sea with a weird pixel like graphics if the waves are quiet big??

Better watch the documentary on how it sank and whole bunch of controversy surrounding its last journey. This seems like a poor attempt to bring attention to the tragedy :( I know people who lost their relatives in that tragedy.

@@SimUKReviews there's a lot more to it. Due to huge amount of possible reasons for it sinking - there's been no "single guilty party". The reasons for the ship to sink range from simple unshut manhole to complete tinfoil hat levels like "nuclear waste cargo needed to be sunk" or planned sabotage of the vessel, as it's called the same way as the new republic that just gained its independence from ussr :) so yeah - latest documentary I think is on discovery+.

Is it just me that thinks it is wrong to bring a game out about a tragedy. We don't need a game to remember the tragedy. But it just seems so wrong to me. Not a game I will be playing or watching any videos on. Sim UK I love your work man, but I will not be watching this game. Even once it is all complete.

Thank you Mr P, I wholeheartedly understand & respect your position. f you had of watched the video you would know that I share your concerns and sentiments. However...this is my job & there are many similar incidents which are covered in books, movies & games. So long as it is respectful, compassionate & treated as such, then I see no harm.
