Charles Spurgeon Sermon Playlist 2: • Charles Spurgeon Sermo...
Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C. H. Spurgeon.

Jesus save us from the demons that seek to destroy the mind and body to rob us of salvation. Never give up. Satan was defeated at the cross by Jesus who overcame all temptation and this world. Cling to Jesus and call on his name and He will save. Jesus has been given all power and authority over all thimgs in heaven and earth because he humbled himself to die for us. This is a sermon for all suffering depression.. Thankyou Jesus. July 9th 1868.

The compassion of Charles Spurgeon is so cleared in his sermons but at the same time giving hope to the hopeless indeed for he knew The Word.

Thank you for this sermon brother, my young son's and daughter think they are hopeless because they are enslaved by alcohol and drugs. I keep telling them that God loves them so very much however they don't believe this. Please pray for my children and grandchildren. My grandchildren see the violence, screaming and crying, what have we done? I try to protect them but my son's will not hear us when we tell them "stop". I say " stop in the name of Jesus" but they laugh at my face, what have we done? pray for my children and grandchildren. I know that there is hope in Jesus, and hope for the hopeless.

Mark 2:16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, “How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?” 17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

After years of drug and alchol abuse. God literally removed these afflictions from me 13 years ago. I was to all a hopeless case. Even to myself. I woke one morning and looked up and said that’s it God I’m done. That was June 1,2010. Praise God! There’s never a hopeless case of Gods hand of God. And there’s always hope in that as long as we live!

Hope for the Hopeless was the Hope which God's servants kept before me for such a long while. But, today I can say thank you Lord Jesus. It is done. I am saved in and by and through my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

.....Hymn extract.....How bright that blessed hope! Jesus will come; Let us our heads lift up, Jesus will come; Morning so bright and clear, Mansions of God appear. Sin shall not enter there, Jesus will come. Raised unto glory then At His return, Joyous our song shall be At His return; Gathered around to Him, All learnt the heavenly hymn, Jesus our joyful theme At His return. .......

Was looking for a message on this subject, alas at first the suggestions where filled with messages from questionable people. I would rather not quite like what God says and have Him change me rather than be built up by a people pleaser.

Pslam 88, my favorite verse: Lord, you are the God who saves me; day and night I cry out to you. 2 May my prayer come before you; turn your ear to my cry. 3 I am overwhelmed with troubles and my life draws near to death. 4 I am counted among those who go down to the pit; I am like one without strength. 5 I am set apart with the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more, who are cut off from your care. 6 You have put me in the lowest pit, in the darkest depths. 7 Your wrath lies heavily on me; you have overwhelmed me with all your waves. 8 You have taken from me my closest friends and have made me repulsive to them. I am confined and cannot escape; 9 my eyes are dim with grief. I call to you, Lord, every day; I spread out my hands to you. 10 Do you show your wonders to the dead? Do their spirits rise up and praise you? 11 Is your love declared in the grave, your faithfulness in Destruction? 12 Are your wonders known in the place of darkness, or your righteous deeds in the land of oblivion? 13 But I cry to you for help,Lord; in the morning my prayer comes before you. 14 Why, Lord, do you reject me and hide your face from me? 15 From my youth I have suffered and been close to death; I have borne your terror and am in despair 16 Your wrath has swept over me; your terrors have destroyed me. 17 All day long they surround me like a flood; they have completely engulfed me. 18 You have taken from me friend and neighbor- darkness is my closest friend.
