I'm glad there's a transcript. I'm going to read it to let it sink in; and, maybe, look up a word or two. 😆

Thank you for sharing this there were some useful points there. God is good. His grace is there for everyone who turns to him, repents of their sin and comes into a living relationship with God through Jesus. He can help us to cope with depression and sometimes he completely heals; as I have experienced, it was nothing I did, I just trusted the Lord, it was all of him, He did it.

This made since to me immediately as a new believer.❤ Before I found God I was heavy into the occult and Satanism. 🤔I couldn't even hear the name of Jesus or anything about Christianity without being filled with rage. 🥴Even going so far as to unsubscribe from people if I found out they were Christian even when their content had nothing to do with it. I got saved the day I planned to die, from a phone call from someone I never talk to. She wasn't even Christian and it was so out of this world the way everything happened. 😂For that brief moment for some reason I just thought about God. Never thought about God before. I didn't even know why I thought about God. I had no idea who he was. Never opened a Bible(excluding the satanic one) a day in my life. So I was like fine I'll suspend all thoughts about Christianity and everything I've ever thought about it for this moment. Cause I really wanted to die that was the plan. So I fasted for 3 days no food or water. And prayed and studied for my CDL. Because I already quit my job on the spot I thought I was gunna be dead. 🤣After the days were up I was just filled with peace I felt like a totally new person. I went to take my CDL test. Passed applied for a job. Within the hour my job called me and sent me a bus ticket. And I was like. Well ok. I guess I'm Christian and God is definitely real. 😂 But it wasn't until the next year that I finally decided to read the Bible and I was introduced to people like John MacArthur and voddie bachem and really started to understand what that meant and how grateful I was that he showed me mercy. ❤

And to think I’ve heard “Christian’s” say they couldn’t believe in a God who chose some and didn’t give everyone the choice - salvation is ultimately in the hands of man - thank God that there are men who bravely declare the truth of the gospel - a high view of man will always allow error

Thank you, Pastor Patrick, for one more excellent sermon. I loved RC Sproul’s sermons and have several of his books. What a wonderful character he had by the grace of God. Just got out Chosen By God that I read in ‘18 and it’s almost completely underlined in fine colour markers! I will read it again now. 👓📖📘🩵🙏🇦🇺

Be careful throwing around "heresy"and "lost" declarations of Brothers in Christ, who simply don't hold to the same rigid dogmas you do. Anyone who believes in their heart and confesses with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and Savior will be saved. For it is by Grace through faith, that we are saved. Thus the only "instrument" for accepting Christ's work on the cross is faith. And faith is lived out and approved by love for one another. It's not perfect doctrines, nor religious observance, nor great works and accomplishments in God's name, nor adherence to a specific faction or tradition, but simple belief working itself out in love which secured our salvation. Don't go beyond what is written, and thus take pride in one man over another. Saying I follow, Paul, or Apollos or Cephas, or Luther, or Calvin, or Wesley, or Augustine, ect. But follow Christ both internally with your heart and externally with your love. 😊

Christians from Paul forward have had to address the very argument you are here making. I’ll let Dr. Robert Reymond answer you for me: “This argument, however, is aimed not so much against Protestantism’s “rigidity” as it is against Paul’s insistence (1) that there is only one gospel-justification by faith alone in Christ’s work alone (Rom. 3:27, 28; 4:5; 10:4; Gal. 2:16; 3:10-11, 26; Phil. 3:8-9), (2) that any other “gospel” is not the gospel, (3) that those who teach any other “gospel” stand under the anathema of God (Gal. 1:8-9), and (4) that those who rely to any degree on their own works for their salvation nullify the grace of God (Rom. 11:5-6), make void the cross work of Christ (Gal. 2:21; 5:2), become debtors to keep the entire law (Gal. 5:3), and in becoming such “fall from grace” (Gal. 5:4), that is, place themselves again under the curse of the law.”

You made a generalised and sweeping statement about what you call the charismatic movement. You never defined it. But you still proceeded to pass a judgment on these people. Where is Jesus' wisdom here? I find your delivery emotional peppered with a hint of aggression. Listen to what you say and how you say it. Use your tongue wisely and not as a weapon.
