Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C. H. Spurgeon.

I agree. Some of Spurgeon's sermons have the power to drive away demons. This is one of them. Nothing dramatic; just divine facts.

Great job reading Spurgeon's serman, Charles Koelsch! I can hear so much passion in your reading, and you have a talent at bringing out Spurgeon's dry sense of humor with the metaphors he so often uses to illustrate a principle or truth. It is so true that people who never suffer anything become sort of like "cast-iron" people, breaking other people with their "touch," and I would add , they break others also with their words. Thank you so much for putting this sermon on utube.

Thank you for sharing this, for publishing this message, it blessed me so much. It is a powerfully anointed encouraging word from God, for anyone who is going through distress, or sorrow, or trouble of any kind. To refocus God's child, to turn God's son or daughters eyes back upon their heavenly Father and experience the relief that only comes from God, the peace of heart and mind knowing that He is in charge and He will have His way in your life, no matter what comes your way in Jesus Name.

Though I always thought that the protestants never came far enough out of the catholic church, dragging some of the deadness out of her, they never really became "free indeed" i gave this sermon - video a like.

They never came far enough out because the right Man hasn't yet returned, or the right people have never in all history joined together. For the latter to happen, Spurgeon's precision would have to be joined to (King) David's reach. Tall order.

@@hilaryj.lencar9784 "come out of her my people', there never was a local church ever, Jesus said "i will build my church", he is still building it today, folks take the local churches as they were ordained by God because they have all ways been around, He builds His church today, no true child of God could sit in a church, because he has an unction from God, and all the rules and regulations could never really be perfectly followed, putting all local churches in violation of the Scriptures (edit/added) think for a minute consider what i say, the qualifications for a bishop, who really has their children in subjection, or who really blameless, or who really is a friend to strangers? we know its not any man but God, the bible was given so someone on the sidewalk could stand there and say, this local church is in violation of the book they preach. let us read the bible, and compare it to what the "preachers" say, and the "scientists" say. take Ps. 19 4 thur 6, says the sun as a strong man runs his race... his revolution unto there ends. and didnt God make "the sun stand still for one day"? churches dont have "God dealerships". scientists say, globe, globe, globe, but God asks Job where were you when i founded the earth. and the gifts and calling of God are apart from repentance. salvation is of the Lord, not the church. trust in the church with all thine heart, and lean unto to.....

@@hilaryj.lencar9784 then your "born again" is only intellectual not super natural, being born again is God's action, not man's, I or any church couldn't coerce you or anyone to be born again, we didn't choose our first birth, and we can't choose or kick start the second birth, if God decides to save a baby in a womb, what is the baby's part in that action? Or what dose some church that was way back when have to do with that baby's salvation?, it has nothing to do with it.
