Before even watching the video - we only found your channel a few months ago. I started watching cooking shows while I am on medical leave (due to burnout). Cooking again inspired me and has helped so much - and finding your channel contributed so much to re-discovering my love for cooking. I’ve already made your fried rice, adobo and green Thai curry. We all go through hard times, and no one ever really knows the story behind our parasocial relationships but I wanted to thank you and let you know, that uncle Roger, you brought a lot of happiness into our family home, especially in a time where “mom is really sick”. We definitely have msg in our pantry, and a rice cooker now and our lives are much better since checking your channel out. Actually my dad bought me a rice cooker after I told him about your channel - so now I have two

Thanks for all laughs! I found you last year as I was critically ill in the hospital. I was looking for K-dramas and Korean food of my childhood. Your comedy showed up. To the surprise of all of my doctors, I not only didn't die but recovered much of my health.

Keep it up, Nigel / Roger. I'm loving your collabs, your content, your comedy, and your education. This nephew found you this year, and I'll keep watching in 2024.

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that its been a pretty rough year, I looked around me a couple days ago and I realized that like 1 person I know had a good year, the rest of us were fighting our way through it. I was blessed to spend time with someone who came into my life and changed it forever, so now I'm determined to make 2024 better and myself along with it. Having that incredible person leave my life broke my heart and I'm still healing. Uncle Roger and his way of making me smile and laugh no matter how bad my day has been is such an amazing gift and I'm so glad he continues to share it with us because I know it has really helped me and many others through some rough times. Stay hard all and make 2024 your year! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🍻

Your videos were a bright spot throughout the year, always full of laughs and cooking information. I'm excited to see what else you have in 2024 now that you're in the U.S., but I hope you will be able to go back to the UK sometime, maybe do something with Sorted again, or especially Auntie Liz. You two had the best energy and chemistry together, and your collabs are some of my favorites. Happy holidays to all.

Of all your awesome videos, my favorite this year was probably when you tested if MSG improved all different cuisines. It was like a dream collab! Also, LATE coming in under the wire but reviewing UNCLE LAU was another dream review!

Hi Nigel, thank you for all the good laughs of another year. This year of 2023 life has been tough for many people, including many hard-working Chinese people who survived several waves of COVID attacks. Being funny and making fun of things are important for a hard life, but it isn't worth it to let these many many Chinese people lose their opportunity to see you. You have a massive fan base in China regardless of circumstances, and hopefully next year they can see you on their accessible channel again!

The declaration on war with the BBC and the UK, fight of the century with Jamie Olive Oil, Leg therapy for the time it has suffered. Rice, MSG, Tofy, Green Curry have all suffered long enough. We thank you Uncle Roger for the pain you have taken in for us and we look forward to 2024 for a more chaotic and comical year! Seriously we all feel bad for the suffering lol.

Came from the WhatsApp channel! I have to admit, this year has been tough on me, mentally wise. I have a lot of family problems and everything gets overwhelming. Especially with me, being chosen as the family helpline for no reason. Watching your videos has helped lighten up my mood and made me laugh so much. Its also made me want to start cooking more and explore different things, which led up to me making my favourite dish, which has no name because I made it up.
