Hoosier Firewood Hysteria! Having Fun Helping Veterans!

Ойын-сауық

How to make firewood faster and easier than ever before! Team up with a bunch of like minded people. Hard Working Man travels to Indiana to team up with Mike from KNL Firewood, Chris from In The Woodyard, Tony from Tony's Cool Tools, Jeremiah and Amanda from Outdoors in the 608, Todds Outside Again, Outdoors With Andy, Firewood Midwest, 765 Guys, In The Backyard With Del, Iowa Premier Tree Surgeon, and several other great KZread channels to split wood supporting veterans! Sorry if we missed anyone! It was such a busy day without much down time. We brought our All Wood Muscle Wood log splitter and processor table, There were several Eastonmade splitters on hand including the 12-22, 9-16, and Axis. A Wolfe Ridge Pro 35C, and several other splitters running as we filled the barn with splits to support the Howard County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Campground. Stihl, Husqvarna, and Echo chainsaws, ProSizers, Kioti and John Deere tractors, Caterpillar skidsteers, and all kinds of equipment working in an organized chaos to complete a great feat! Approximately 30 full cords of firewood produced in 1 day! Follow along as we document the day. We also add some stickers to our All Wood Log Table, and Tony shares his thoughts on the table! You won't want to miss this one!

    I wonder how a pull back arm on the right hand side of the pusher plate would work. It would have to be secured, fully adjustable up and down, and not ride on anything but the pusher plate. It could prevent one from having to reach over and grab that awkard piece for a re-split. The piece on the left hand side is generally easy to grab and re-split from what I can see. Just my thoughts. Like your video's. There an escape :)👍

    Tony da' Man did an awful lot of cuttin'. There were a couple other guys doin' a little bit of cuttin', didn't recognize most of them, like the guy in the orange shirt. They really tried, but looked to me like Tony was the guy that kept the whole operation going!! Amanda was pretty fantastic too! She didn't know the splitter, kinda delayed after each split, but did great anyway! It was when Rachel was splitting, I was totally gobsmacked watching Amanda throw that wood up in there!!! And the way Rachel loaded those big rounds! She has superpowers! Oughta be in a comic book at least once!! Way to go girls! That looked to me like the most, biggest, gargantuanest 30 cords I've ever seen!! Prob take an ordinary guy off the street, he'd estimate 50 or 60 cords in those mountains! But I don't want to counter Chris. He's too valuable to the Woodchucker's Union!! Guarantee after that day, somebody there is groaning and rubbing Absorbine on some sore musccles, prob everybody there! Good day...Good memories... Good deeds! On behalf of my fellow vets, THANK YOU!

    Those are two hard working woman right there folks really both of them. HOWEVER Rachel will end up with back problems if she keeps it up with lifting those 150 lb rounds in the end. You get older much faster than you think. Your brain tells you one thing and your body tells you another. Back problems are a lifetime problem

    It is a Vietnam Veterans memorial campground. It is now being passed along to vets from the Gulf Storm eta. It is run by vets for vets. Others can camp there as well but the majority of the campground is veterans. This is just a way for us to pay them back for all that they’ve done for our country.

    Mathew, the little bit I got to run the Axis I like it. It’s a pretty slick machine. I’d love to have an Axis along with a horizontal production machine. The Axis makes a much cleaner higher quality wood but won’t make wood as fast as the 12-22 or All Wood. I know the table was $1,500, not sure if that price has changed. In my opinion it’s worth every penny!

    So I want to know did you run your splitter 100 throttle the whole time How much fuel did you burn through with that thing

  • @hardworkingmanoutdoors

    @hardworkingmanoutdoors

    Жыл бұрын

    Lucas when at home we usually run it below full throttle. At the show we ran pretty much full throttle most of the day. We started with a full tank and it was well after lunch when we had to re fuel. I’d say we burned about 1 gallon per hour and I’d guess we produced close to 1.5-2 full cord per hour. These are just guesses but the fuel use should be pretty close. I know I was surprised with how much wood we made before needing to re fuel!
