Hooking a BIG fish 13 miles out on an inflatable boat

I often see people asking how far out can you go on a SIB. I don't think there's really a correct answer as there are so many variables that must be taken into account but the main ones are kit, conditions and competence.
In this video we steam 13 miles from the Cornish harbour of Looe to the infamous Eddystone lighthouse.
If you enjoyed this video please like and if you haven't already subscribe to the channel, it really encourages me to make more videos :)

Just watched the film as I'm thinking of buying a sib, love ❤️ my fishing, live in Berwickshire and fish from Eyemouth, watching this has been a great help for me as it's given me more confidence instead of the charter boats, and a smashing guy who comes across really well , great stuff, thanks 😊

Great video. Gutted for both of you to lose what seemed to be a good fish. Love the stumpy rod though. Great to see you got out on a cracking day and it certainly calmed down 👍

Well done Oban great video shame about losing the fish but it happens and you handled it well! I lost a big bass I even saw it coming up and it spat the lure I was gutted for days! What do you reckon it was that took it? Looks like such a good place to fish maybe we can both go one day 🙂

I think if it was any species of shark there would be signs of fraying on the leader, it was only 25lb fluorocarbon. Whatever this fish was it snapped the line.
