The fish balls seem to be quite a bit larger than the usual varieties in urban HK!

The fishballs are not really a traditional thing, but they have become one of the major attractions to Cheung Chau which is ok I guess. The local businesses are sure selling a lot! Note that some are locally hand made, while others are imported factory products so try to get the good ones!

+Yvonne Joseph You HAVE to realize the whole gloves thing is asinine, right? You touch the gloves with your hands to put them on, and any germs that might be on ANY part of your skin would have spread to the gloves within seconds... To be truly 'sanitary' you'd have to bathe yourself in bleach every time you touched ANYTHING... Our disinfecting culture is a result of decades of consumerism, being sold cleaning products... And what we are taught throughout our young lives only acts to FEED that consumerism.... Oh GERMS ARE BAD so we need to make sure everything is clean and disinfected... All the while doing so WEAKENS YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM by killing the germs FOR YOU that your body would have built a natural defense against.
