Nice trip from HK on a low-cost carrier. It was wise of 6'4" to claim the empty aisle seat before someone else takes it. Too bad he left you hanging with the high-five, haha 5:46 . This is rockstar status right here with the sunglasses: 20:13 🤣. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Jayden glad you tried them, I would refer to GBA, as a hybrid airline, since they include many things they LCC don’t, such as free water & free seat selection. I was also on B-KJH a few days ago flying from HKG-BKK

GBA (Greater Bay Area) airways serve mostly to cities in China,but also serve nearby eastern countries.

Great video, Jayden! I had never heard for Greater Bay Airlines before your video. I hope your video will spread the word and bring them more business. They seemed to have reasonable service despite being a low cost airline. But poor 6'4" enduring the lack of legroom. I'm glad the other seat was vacant at least so you could spread out. Your tour of the Seoul area looked beautiful. Thanks for sharing the vlog.

Thanks Mike! :) They just partnered up with a local HK bank in offering fixed priced airfare. Tokyo is like HKD1600 return (USD220) plus tax when Cathay/JAL/ANA charge $5000 🤣 My mum has a card with that bank so I might consider booking them again when oneworld is too expensive haha

Nice vlog! That egg bread looked so delicious! I love that they have signs about keeping your streets clean. Unfortunately here in Florida some people are lazy and don’t care. I want to go to Tokyo so bad!

Woah Jayden fantastic trip report and the vlog, loved it, great to see you enjoyed it 👍 Looks like the seat features onboard the new airline is very limited, i dont really remember you mentioning the 'reading lights' and 'AC' that often😅 Where did that Qantas 737 come from?!! In my opinion, Cathay still does the best job. I want to know whether you've experienced the old Dragon Air as well, I flew with them many times before from Shanghai to Hong Kong and I reckon they do a great job. Hopefully you are doing well and safe travels!

Missed you guys with a week. Staid 5 m walking from Myeong Dong / LOTTE . Airbnb for 90€. Myeong Dong has some great bars upstairs for old timers like me 😊 The airport express bus is very cheap as well. To term 1 + 2.

Interesting vlog Jayden As with all new airlines empty is sadly the norm Hopefully things improve for them Did u sanitize your seat and check for hidden spy stuff ( after you got hacked I would be checking everything considering u are infamous now All Korean pollution blows in from mainland China

I heard that apparently on GBA now following the turbulence incident on Singapore Airlines all passengers have to remain seated with their seat belts fastened throughout the whole flight and no moving around even mid-flight

I said so because this airline is very ‘Chinese’, and the investors/founders are pro-Chinese. You have politicians who complain Cathay not doing enough Mandarin announcements, so I thought they would do mandarin PA on GBA, like HK Airlines :)

Really excellent videos so far speaking of Greater Bay Airlines looks like they do end up competing with the low-cost carriers all over the region. By the way what is your favorite LCC carrier from that part of the world for my mum and aunts from PER🇦🇺/KIX🇯🇵 she sees it as 5J (宿霧太平洋公司)🇵🇭 =🇲🇾🇹🇭🇵🇭 Air Asia > UO 香港快運航空 greater Bay Express🇭🇰. That also includes the South Koreans Singaporeans and Japanese ones Never been to this the airport only been to the main terminal.

This is an airline I have never heard of. Overall, it looks like a decent product. The load factors are worrisome however. Perhaps it was just your flight but; if not, I don't see how they can stay in business. Wishing them the best.

Later on Australian and New Zealand passport holders no need apply China visa they can go to China trip without visa to stsy in China for 15 days visa free after eleven European countries (France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Luxembourg, Ireland, Austria, Hungary, Spain, Netherlands and Belgium), Malaysian, Singaporean and Thai passport holders no meed apply China visa can enter to China trip for 15 days and for Singaporean, Malaysian and Thai Citizens stay in China for 30 days.

Too bad GBA has not a lot of routes and they are mostly overshadowed by CX group. I'm just hoping they'll have more and more routes.
