Great video, Jayden! I loved seeing how happy the cabin crew looked. It makes for such a good customer experience if the crew look like they are happy to be there. The disadvantage to siting in the back row is not getting your choice of meals. Fiji looked so lovely. It was awesome you got the double room upgrade!

Love it Jayden and if you chose the B737 Max 8 SYD-NAN you can go all the way to the US since FJ uses MAX 8 to HNL too. 20 years ago they were called AIr Pacific

Last time I flew FJ it was Air Pacific in an old SQ 747, including many Kris flyer logos.We all got economy lay flat “beds” from NAN to LAX after the SYD NAN flight.

love this...off to JAPAN/SINAPORE this coming year...so looking forward to your reviews of those stops..... still remember your video of your time in HK when you both went to the beach and 6ft4 wrote in stones..."i love you" to you....sure you kept that as a memory...of the trip😃.

Nice in depth report, the A350 looks stunning in Fiji livery. Their service also seems to be no short of delightful. About what you'd expect of a Business class product! PS; I notice you're super polite to even the boarding agent! Incredibly respectful traveler, offers some contrast to some other airline reviewers on here!

Gosh, I flew to Fiji in 1989. On a Qantas 747. There was a Neighbours star and his family on board. We stayed at the same resort. They were a friendly family. Had a great time. The little lizards got in my room. Spooked me at first. You had lots of liquid sunshine. Great review. Bulla. Vinaka.

10:44 I noticed that the map they used was very innovative and displayed the latitude and longitiude as well as the bearing and the plane registration number. It also display flight number and date of flight. Looks like this moving map is Geofusion which is exclusive to Thales. Thales Avant uses better mapping

Firstly, you're so adorable in this. 😉 2nd, why don't you, with your airline status, get your desired meal choice? Is it because you were in the back row? With KLM, they usually approach me first so I can choose my meal before pax who upgrade or aren't Flying Blue. 3rd, OMG, the rain at the hotel, but that room was sweet! I love rain in tropical places, but all day and night can be tough.

In my experience, very few airlines do that, even on Cathay it's a hit or miss. We did go during the rainy season haha, so I was prepared to stay in the room and do lots of editing🤣

Seemed a very nice flight to Fiji. The hotel room was dreamy and the view was postcard quality. Makes me want to go to Fiji. Thanks Jayden , I hope six foot four doesn't find your video time to much of a bore. 😂

The flight to Japan on Fiji air has a great price but you *have* to stay overnight to connect to your next flight. I assume there is no 'airport hotel' option and you have to stay at a resort (hence the check-in desk). It feels like a tourist trap with cheap airfares as the bait.

you don’t have to stay overnight, you can choose the morning flight and make it to the Tokyo flight

How do you get accurate plane details? Seat guru is 0 for 3. For example, I know CX flies the 777-300er from LAX-HKG. I was under the impression it was the 77H 3-3-3 configuration in economy. Turns out to be the 3-4-3 77K config, but was unaware until check in when viewing the seat layout. Thanks!

I do miss that haha. This flight was the first flight of the trip, and so far the only one I uploaded! The other Japan flights you saw were from 2-3 weeks prior to this. Went to Japan twice last month haha
