Why do people complain about Yoda's fighting style? He's 2 feet tall, you expect him to fight like Obi Wan or something? Star wars fans are kinda irrational.

I think he would be more badass if he was so strong in the force that lightsabers would be useless to him. Imagine him being able to turn off lightsabers against enemies, or using the handwaving thing to convince large numbers of non-force soldiers to not fight him.

Ash That would literally make no sense, if he was that strong how would Sidous have taken control. More importantly why would he have bothered to train Luke? He would have to be a coward or an idiot. Yoda is neither and might i say, Yoda being so strong in the force is the only reason he is able to move at 900 years old. Not only is his force strong enough for him to walk temporarily but he can even fight, if that doesnt say unbeleivable force user idk what does.

Ojogbane Amedu Sidious could have easily just been equally as strong in the force as Yoda. In the end Sidious wasn't even defeated by someone overpowering him. And Yoda being that strong would have just been in the prequels, he could have still gotten weaker in the twilight of his years.

As for only doing bad ones, they go by commenters' suggestions, which is a great way of going about it tbh. Let's put it this way. If you deliberately try and point out faults in all the movies you see, then when you start struggling to find faults in one you _know_ it's a truly good movie.

Also, I'm stereotyping here but he is a nerd. Peter Parker, you'd think would have the intelligence to realise 'Star Wars' isn't a niche thing that few have even heard of. I re-watched this the other day, and I did genuinely find it difficult to find fundamental flaws in the film. Obviously it's not perfect, no film is, and I fully expect people to nitpick in the comments, but there truly is no major flaws that damage the film in any meaningful way.

I don't know about plot dynamics. But my personal experience: take the heroes you liked and loved from the first movie. Throw them on an icy cold planet. Some harsh language: 'Your Tauntaun will freeze before you reach the first marker' - "Then I'll see you in hell!" and kids, we know this is a serious movie. They barely escape the ice planet, get seperated and are on the run untill they find a safe haven. Which it isn't and they are betrayed by an old friend. Then there's some hope that's instantly crushed. "Lord Vader, we only use this facility for carbon freezing. If you put him in there it might kill him. Darth Vader : "I do not want the Emperor's prize damaged. We will test it. On Captain Solo." And of course, instead of spoiled, ice princess Leia, we get: truly sexy Princess Leia. Just look at how she looks while with Han at Bespin when they are in private, before the empire crashes the party. Then the Big Reveal. And Luke loses a limb. Well, part of it. And the kids are going "he didn't lose his hand there, did he? No way, not Luke Skywalker" I could go on but this movie had me tearing at my heart strings time and time again. Then it ended… In Media Res. The Empire Strikes Back ended on a cliff hanger...

I used to see a lot of flaws but nitpicking stuff. It IS my favorite in the whole saga! Although the next movie starts out really great - dark but comedic. Then it goes fluffy and comedic which just isn't quite the same 🤔😅

I’d say its biggest issue is poorly portraying the amount of time that takes place within the film cause it takes the falcon about 3 months to get to bespin and luke is training on dagobah for three months.

@Walter Shmiity, I disagree that Honest Trailers have gone downhill. But I do think the comedy segment at the end was bad, although I wouldn't call it an "abortion of comedy".
