This is why I respect Bautista much more than the Rock. They started out from the same place, famed wrestlers turned actors. While the Rock plays the same exact role over and over, aka big tough guy with a heart of gold, exclusively in the action/comedy realm, Bautista actually tries to do more than taking the easy route like the Rock. He puts himself in movies like Blade Runner where he doesn't rely on his physique to be the big tough guy. He actually acts. Excited to see how he does in Dune 2020.

Honestly had a lot of fun with this movie. It was the last movie my dad wanted to see in theaters before he died. He loved the rock, so he really enjoyed it and it reminded me of all the great times we had watching the old classics like the Indiana Jones movies. This movie definitely wasn’t the best thing ever, but it kept his mind off of his body slowly shutting down for 2 and a half hours, so I owe this movie a lot

It still amazes me that absolutely none of these movies are actually directed by Michael Bay, they fit his movie aesthetic almost comically too well

that basement/tunnel is such a great actor. it undergoes such great transformation that I didn't notice it was in mission impossible, James bond, Hobbs and shaw and spider man

I laughed harder watching this movie with my brother than at any other movie this year. At one point he turned to me, tears in his eyes, and whispered "why did they make this?" I love this franchise.

I was actually impressed that the movie treated Hattie Shaw as an independent human with her own free will who can make her own choices about who she's with. In another movie, Hobbs and Shaw would have fought over whether she was allowed to date Hobbs without considering Hattie's wishes. And it would have been played for laughs. Hobbs' and Hattie's interaction was really refreshing and quite surprising.

The fact that Han is never mentioned as a reason for his hate still boils me, and It really shouldn'. (That "Eye-Driss" Elba part kinda hurt ngl)
