HTV RONT was kind enough to send me their HTV RONT Hat Heat Press, along with 3 of their HTV Vinyls. This review is a COMPLETE first impression, as I have NEVER used my Cricut machine up until this point. So, this review is honest, raw, and fully transparent to help you make the best purchasing decision for yourself and your crafting needs. If you are a beginner Cricut user like myself, I hope you find comfort knowing that mistakes happen (sometimes a lot of mistakes happen) and it's gonna be fine! :)
Let me know in the comments if you are NEW to Cricut OR if you have used this HTV RONT Hat Heat Machine.
What are your own thoughts and experiences using it? I love for my channel to be a learning forum for all!

I had problems also with the seam on the hats, so I just used a sponge inside the hat and that did the trick...

I would try a different material hat with normal HTV vinyl. Try using an Otto Brand trucker hat! The puff vinyl you are using is only suitable for a t-shirt press. The best vinyl I used is actually the cricut brand vinyl. I have a hard time weeding and pressing Siser Easyweed.

to reducethe puff bubbling you have to preheat the garment for 7seconds..The bubbles are due to temp! Maybe try regular htv

With the Puff Vinyl... the heat is probably too hot and also, to get that puffiness, a 2nd press is needed. I wouldn't recommend it for a hat. Definitely shirts. But it's so hard to find a good puff vinyl. Sometimes you have to find the correct temp for your machine and not go with what is said. That's what I've learned after 2+ years working with vinyls. Good luck.

Gosh, that makes so much sense! I agree, sometimes it’s just trial and error until you find that sweet spot. Thank you for your comment! I definitely enjoy working with vinyls, but need way more practice 😊

Heat your hat first just like you would do a shirt to remove any moisture
