I was told by my supplier that the one thing is to quickly remove your carrier because it's the process of the transfer breathing that helps it expand. So, in example, your first press you left it covered, that affected your transformation. As in your second press, you quickly removed the carrier, which also made a difference along with your prepress.

This was incredibly helpful for a first time user!

I gotta say.. I have watched dozens and dozens of tutorials and not ONE single person has mentioned about the moisture in the shirts. Everyone kept saying time and temp, time and temp.. I had to press mine at 285 for 5 seconds but mannnn… after I got all the moisture out of the shirt, it ended up being absolutely PERFECT! Thank you SO much for this!

With small images like the one you show here, you can avoid the wrinkles adding a cushion padding under the shirt so the heat press will have more pressure area to "push" down the puff vinyl a bit more, this trick have worked for me perfectly every time even with larger designs.

This video is a life saver. Thanks for posting 💪🏿

I loved this video.. OMG it was so helpful.. I've only been into this for a little over a year. Been doing pretty good, but want to do more than Regular, Hologram and Glitter Htv... Just a few weeks ago I helped a friend with some hoodies and I just had to press them because she had already weeded and cut them out, and some of them came out crinkly as some of hers did too but she just say oh that happens sometimes, so I don't think she knew what to do. And we pressed them at 290 degrees for 10 secs. And she was like no longer than that but I didn't know cuz I never worked with puff before so now that I know I'm excited to try it... She's the one that got me into this business. She's been in it now for about 7 yrs.

I actually stopped using Teflon sheets. I noticed that has been trapping a lot of steam. Since I switched to butcher paper, all my presses been 👍

I agree with the subscriber before me, I haven't heard of anyone saying to pre-press before applying puff HTV. However, I have was making several T-shirts with regular HTV and adding puff last. I did not reheat the space where the puff was applied, and all the puff was wrinkled. The puff material instruction says to heat at 286 degrees for 10 seconds. Well, only the first garment looked good, everyone after that wrinkled. I am trying your technique and I will see what happens.

Give it a try! If the puff is already wrinkled it can’t get any worse. Just 8 secs to n med to light press

I do 315 6seconds peel then another 6 seconds works perfect

Does 320F works for VTS 3d puff too? It says 280 for 10s but mine has bubbles and wrinkles tried to press again and it became flat 😞

Hi I’m wondering why it doesn’t go completely flat after pressing and repressing? I read somewhere you get one shot on puff vinyl and if you repress it just becomes flat regular kind of vinyl. You pressed several times and yours got better and better! How did that happen? Thanks

You don’t need much pressure or a long press just a quick 8-10 secs with light-med pressure. The trick is to pull what remaining steam thru the vinyl to pull the puff back up

If your siser is wrinkling your washing and drying in too hot of temp. Htv garments should be air dried to last

It’s a must to remove all moisture from the garment before applying any vinyl regular or puff.

Your possibly over cooking or pressure is too high. Try lowering the pressure and press for 8-10 secs
