That was really cool. I have two sets of towels that I pressed for a customer and my partner assumed that the client wanted both towels printed with her name, not the case. So now I need to remove a name that was printed by mistake and hopefully save the work that I put into that order. I ordered my VLR and hopefully it will work in the towel. Thank you for the video.

I took red vinyl off of 2 white sweat shirts without any issues but I didn’t film it. I only use VLR when I make mistakes so if I mess up again I will try to remember to film it.

Great video. I’m wondering once you rewet the shirt like when customer washes if it reactivates the chemical? Has anyone had personal experience with this?

Thanks for the review. I’ve looked at this product several times but decided to use the hot iron method instead. It works but I need to save 3 shirts and I don’t think the iron is going to allow me to use the shirts for totally different designs.

Ibought a denim skirt off ebay. I did not know it had large vinyl print patterns on the skirt - it is not thick vinyl like tshirt letters. Do you know if this will remove thin vinyl as well? Thank you fir your video. Its great to know there is something available.

YW! It really works! The company does not pay me but they asked if it was ok to use my video on their website a few years ago. I'm not sure if they are still using it though.

I started with HTV a week ago just for fun, bought a heat press and a cameo4 craft plotter. Then i bought 5 different sheets of HTV from 5 different brands (Siser, Stahls, Poli Tape, Chemica) and pressed small fonts on an old T-shirt i found, its 95% cotton and 5% elastan. I wanted this to torture it as a test object how durable HTV is. What i noticed after the the first wash was that some edges of letters were slighty "curled". When you swipe with your finger over the fonts you cold feel the sharp edges of the letters, maybe that is normal, i dont know. After the 2nd wash the chemica Hotmark font i pressed was badly knitted and curled, looked terrible. I was curious and i tried to rip it off when it was still wet and i was able ti rip the fonts off the shirt. I was curious about the other fonts i pressed from the other brands and i was able to rip those off the shirt as well, i am a bit dissapointed now. I thought the HTV would like melt into the fibres but it just sticks on it with glue and you can rip it off with your hands, maybe that was because it was wet, i dont know. Maybe my shirt was old, it was a thinner fabric. I mean my heat press is not that bad and i pre pressed and even gave a 2nd press. The fonts showed the typical pattern of the fabric, so i guess it was pressed correctly. The pressue was allright i would say. I even checked the temperature with an IR thermometer. Of course you needed some force to rip the HTV away but not that much. Greetings from germany

I never wash shirts before I give them to customers. I don't know if it's just me but I wouldn't want to buy a shirt that someone had washed. If it's supposed to be new I want to be the first to wash it.

I am not 100% sure but I don't think so but if vinyl is in the screen and won't come out it will probably damage the screen so it wouldn't hurt to try it out. If you try it please let me know the result.

I love your videos but if you use a regular iron on high settings you can remove without all those harmful chemicals, thanks for the videos and keep up the good work...

I did a video on that years ago and yes it did remove the letters but it left a shiny residue on the shirt that did not look good so I would never give something like that to a paying customer. The vinyl remover works a lot better and unless someone is drinking that it shouldn't be too harmful.

Wow... that’s so awesome... I messed up a hat where I used HTV glitter vinyl.. I wonder how that would work on the hat because you can’t stretch the hat..

It should still work you would just have to peel it off. The instructions don't even say stretch it but it just makes it a little easier you don't have to peel up each edge when you stretch it because it begins to come off just from being stretched.

It included the prices for 1 color design for 1-10 shirts... and so on.. my question is would you share with me a copy of your business practices that I may use as an example to create my own..I very new at this at need all the help I can get..

I have two questions. 1: Did you try this with imprinted HTV? (For my part, I did try it with imprinted HTV and the solvent makes the imprinted ink liquid. Making it easy to stain the shirt with the ink from the imprinted vinyl). 2: Did you ever have this situation? (I tried VLR remover on older HTV'ed shirts (Gildan) and the VLR Remover left a "water stain" were the remover had been.

I also saw that if you can see a shadow kind of from where the previous vinyl was, that you can just rub the spots like if you were doing a stain scrub thing. Sometimes darker colors seem to show the previous image.

Does this work on polyester? Like a soccer shirt or is it too strong?

Yes, I have used it on some shirts that I print for a restaurant when I put the wrong name on the wrong size shirt.

Was the shirt 100% cotton because I tried with a polyester shirt and it just melt the vinyl and smeared up the shirt.

I have used it on a face mask for my nephew without any issues. It dries fast and has no smell when it’s dry.

How long has that vinyl been on that shirt? Some videos I've seen the vinyl has been on there for a long time it would be harder to lift the vinyl and also leave a stain where the vinyl used to be. Also, suppose you had made a small mistake and just need to remove that area or letter, do you still have to wash the whole shirt?

What if you used water and then stretch it to see if that will work?

I have never used it on printable vinyl but I think it will work. It just removes the adhesiveness from the vinyl and you are able to peel it off.

I found the solution .. after using it and removing the vinyl .. just heat press over it and all residue is gone.. trial and error showed me this !

So, you dont have to wash the shirt before re-applying vinyl? I would've thought the VLR would keep new vinyl from sticking...

It should. The way it works is by breaking down the vinyl so I'm thinking that any material that the vinyl will stick on it should work on.

Two suggestions, One put a piece of thick cardboard between the shirt so the chem doesn't go through. and two I would have washed the shirt before reprinting it

It dries so fast you shouldn't need to use cardboard and it doesn't leave a smell or anything you should not have to wash it unless you just want to do extra.

can I use it on htv vinyl on bathing suits?

The new Albachem vinyl remover is crap compared to the old formulation. It causes ringing, color shifting to the fabric, leaves adhesive behind, most of which the old formulation didn't do. There is no way that a Gildan green shirt (Electric/Neon/Lime) in cotton or 50/50 did not ring or have color-shifting under proper lighting conditions (aka sunlight)...

You just watched the video and saw the same thing that me and everyone else saw I have no reason to lie I do not work for or with Albachem so I do not get paid from them and I purchased this VLR with my own money I have the unboxing video posted where I ordered it from and I paid for it myself. This video shows the 1st time I ever used this product and I had been printing shirts for years before I even knew something like this existed I used to just replace shirts if I mad a mistake. This channel is about real t-shirt printing I don't get anything out of lying to people because If I lie people will eventually stop watching/following so It's better for me to tell the truth about everything. I'm not here for drama or negativity I'm here trying to help people and the only way I can help is by showing my own experiences. I can't go by other peoples experiences. Maybe u used a different type of vinyl than I did or maybe you didn't use the product the same way I used it. IDK what the reason was for your results because you didn't do a video of it to show what happened so I really can't offer any advise to you for your situation. You should post a video showing your experience using the product.
