    With the Puff Vinyl... the heat is probably too hot and also, to get that puffiness, a 2nd press is needed. I wouldn't recommend it for a hat. Definitely shirts. But it's so hard to find a good puff vinyl. Sometimes you have to find the correct temp for your machine and not go with what is said. That's what I've learned after 2+ years working with vinyls. Good luck.

    I would try a different material hat with normal HTV vinyl. Try using an Otto Brand trucker hat! The puff vinyl you are using is only suitable for a t-shirt press. The best vinyl I used is actually the cricut brand vinyl. I have a hard time weeding and pressing Siser Easyweed.

    Thank you for this comparison video. The SeamiArt prices have increased on TEMU and some pallets are no longer available. When comparing a price of $17.00 to the Prima Watercolor Confections, I think it maybe better to go with the latter. "T's World Of Adult Coloring" swatched the watercolors as well. Her SeamiArt Skin Tones pan did not have the peacock color, so I think that is TEMU's mistake. The Vintage Pastel pallet seemed inconsistent, IMO. Although the colors are the same, their intensity varies between your swatch and T's World Of Adult Coloring's. For example, the third color (blue) of the SeamiArt Vintage Pastel's is so light on T's swatch that it's difficult to see any color. Your swatch has a great deal more pigment. She tried adding more paint but the color saturation did not improve.

  • @anyonecandiy
    @anyonecandiy13 күн бұрын

    Very interesting re: the inconsistencies; how much water you add to the watercolor determines how pigmented the swatch is. You can also build the intensity by working in layers, a.k.a. allowing one layer to dry and then adding a secondary layer and so on.

    that peacock blue in the skin palette was random, definitely not burnt ochre colour! maybe it got in there by mistake. But it was a pretty blue anyway. You didnt like the yellow/gold in that set but you might be surprised by a neon yellow in watercolour, Kristy Rice uses it to great effect in her floral paintings :) I like the idea of using the stones in the water jar, sounds cool. I just use a regular sponge like your yellow sponge, cut up into four squares and put one in the bottom of each jar. and i use jars i can fit my whole hand into for easy cleaning. Thanks for the vid its nice to see what you are getting before buying :)

    I am thoroughly confused as I bought the Morandi and Ocean and Forest sets from an American website last year. And they had those exact names. I’ve been using them and I like them. Maybe Temu got a hold of the stock. I’m trying to remember the name of the company, The Artist Life with a picture of an owl.

  • @anyonecandiy
    @anyonecandiy3 ай бұрын

    Wow! You’re right! I just looked them up on theartistlife.com/collections/paints-oils-watercolors-acrylics/products/morandi-inspired-watercolor-set and the same palettes are priced at $48!!! That’s a crazy markup! Not always, but some companies purchase bulk items from china and markup the prices an exorbitant amount to make profit, when in actuality the item you’re paying for retails anywhere from $5-$9.

    I don't think that's accurate as the cakes themselves have different texture to them. The prima almost have this rough/sandy like texture to the cakes and the seami ones appear to be smooth more like w&n cotman, not to mention the pigmentation is vastly different.
