Tip for bent Mylar stencils (I sometimes get them like that from AE). Lay in your kitchen sink, pour boiling water over it from the kettle. It won’t melt. Mylar is so strong. I do with ALL vend stencils. They won’t flatten between books as Mylar is so stiff. With the hot water on it, it flattens out naturally and ‘sticks’ to the flat surface of the sink. Lift out, leave on the draining board or pat dry & use!

My problem with their papers I that they are small. Wish they has some larger sizes (8 1/2 x 11)

just a hopefully helpful tip to store your stencils; I am addicted to them, too, slip them into page protectors in a binder, makes them easy to flip through, see what you have, and find what you need! it's a good way to store the sticker sheets as well. maybe divided by subject or season

@@anyonecandiy also... the stencil you showed just at 10:00 is a layered mushroom stencil... however I can see how you could use them individually also as just designs! I use stencils for embossing paste also... thanks for a wonderful video of your Temu Haul!

Tip for paper making that I learned probably 25 plus years ago... take dryer lint of different colors, put it in a blender specifically used for crafts, not for food... add a little water to get a good mixture, blend. It will take a few times to get the hang of it. Take mixture out of blender, spread out on different sizes on plastic mats, let completely dry. There you go!!

@kristinenickley1755, I've heard about using dryer lint. I also am gathering what is needed to begin needle felting. My concern with both of these is that I rescue dogs. I have a full house, including a couple of rescues that will be fostered, or adopted.So...I have quite the pool of shed dog fur that I exist in. I could felt an entire 'Northern black lab just from the fur he sheds daily. Is there a way to deal with dog fur just randomly ending up in my handmade paper or felted projects?

American companies are the ones paying for research and development and producing their products. It's Ali Express and Temu who pirate their designs. Ask Gina K how it feels to work hard on designing and creating quality products to have them stolen and sold for pennies

Your paper-making kit reminded me of when the 1st grade classroom for gifted kids that I worked in made their own paper. It was very fun! I seem to recall we added chunky glitter or small sequins. That was about 25 years ago. 😮 In reference to the old book pages - I ordered these, too. I put a layer of clear watercolor ground by Daniel Smith on them with a brayer. (Clear gesso will also work). Then I watercolor on them - a few flowers, birds, or folk/abstract designs with black pen details. 🙂Not sure what I'm going to do with them, though. I just have fun painting them! 😅

The 3 pack of stencils that look wonky might be a three layered mushroom. Ones the cap, then the stem and finally the spots on the cap. It really does look cool when theyre done!

Originally I was excited to get such bargain prices on scrapbook papers and other craft supplies, but I stopped ordering from Temu when it became obvious how much they pirated paper designs from other original designers such as Stamperia. They offer cheap, inferior copies of other artists work. It made me wonder if all of their stamps, stencils, etc, were basically copies of other companies products.

Definitely swatch/label your watercolors wherever they come from. What they look like in the pan and what appears on paper may look like two different colors. Morandi was the name of an artist, Georgio Morandi - a fellow art student friend of mine in college was obsessed with his work. I have two gripes about Temu - their packaging and their carrier. I had several packages waylaid by delivery to the wrong house or not at all. Customer service was good but a bit trying. The way they jam everything into one bag is poor. Many items I wanted to give as gifts were in boxes, etc. that were quite smushed. That said, Temu does have an excellent variety of items at a good price. Just don't use their app which is tied to the Chinese government.

Oh, maybe you should also get rid of TikTok, KZread, Google, E-bay, Amazonia, F-book, etc. Because they all collect your data as well. Also, the delivery service may be shit in your country. Here in Germany we get Temu stuff delivered via DHL. I never got anything deliverd to the wrong address or damaged or anything. DHL is pretty much one of the best and most reliable delivery services here. Cheers.

The ring on the back of the watercolour cases arent so you can stand them up, but to put your thumb or finger through if your painting on the go outside

I have ordered from Temu a couple of times. I have been pleased with my items but I have noticed that a lot of their paper and sticker collections are direct copies of Stamperia and Graphic 45. For this reason I don't buy their papers. Also, I don't use their app.

My husband & I downloaded the app & got a lot of really great items, but then we both had our cards hacked. Then I saw a news article about spyware & stuff in their app & not to download it unless you want everything on your device to be open to them. I wondered if you could still safely order online. Have you had issues with being hacked at all? I want to order from them so bad but afraid of exposing personal information

I bought the regular size scoreboard and it was junk ! The markings were off, lines way narrower than my old Martha Stewart .I threw it away after numerous attempts to use it and bought one at Michaels. All problems solved. However, all the dies and sets have cut great with the exception of a banner set. Wouldn't cut at all.

The Dededepraise watercolor paint isn’t as metallic as the back of the box shows. It is just ok paint …meh. The Seami paint is much better in my opinion

Pretty sure Temu is a consortium of manufacturers. China doesn't recognize copyright or IP, so anything that a non-Chinese creator/designer/producer sends to China to be made is at risk for being replicated.

You probably know this by now but your triple set of stencils look like mushrooms to me 🤔
