On the rear fender I have the same bike you can make the stock light a brake running light by soldering another wire to the bulb socket I left the stock light in and just added the same tail light you have.

Next video should do a trail tech I have an xr 250r 2001 and I am going to pull a trail tech on my bike and new headlight just got a tusk battery the other day love the videos keep em coming

This is a good review of the "Tusk Motorcycle Enduro Lighting Kit with Handguard Turn Signals." A google search found it on ebay, and it is designed for the XR600 and XR650R. Maybe that is why it is not a good fit. Thanks for letting me know that the hand guards are not good enough.

Does mixing and matching parts from different light kits raise the difficulty level? Iam thinking about buying the tusk battery and turn signal switch. Then I might get the acerbis brake light for angled rear fender, and a headlight like the one that you have. I have turn signals and a horn from the previous owner.

No, it's pretty easy actually. Luckily this bike included everything but it I was purchasing I would just get the wire harness, battery and switch.

I installed a switch and a socket for an 1157 type bulb and utilized the stock tail light then added a tag bracket with built in light and blinkers bam Done...…..

I purchased the bike used and it did not have the factory light, only this one.

Would it not be easier to take advantage of the factory tail light?.. I would not waste the money on aftermarket tail light but it's your bike.

Well I don't have the stock light and the aftermarket tail came with the bike.

I made my 99 XR 250 street legal, your gonna find yourself needing more power if you ever go on the high way.

Which wires did you connect ?

Can that battery be charged by the stator ?

Does the stock rear fender also fit on xr200r ??

How do you keep the battery charged without the actual charger it self?

The bike does not Actually require a battery so it can be completely discharged then start bike and it will recharge

Anyone know where to get a rear mounting brake, turn, license plate mounting bracket that will work for a MX Style Maeir rear fender? The ones I did find that I thought would work were way to small for my application. It looked big in the pics but when it actually arrived it looked like it was made for a tricycle, worst of all it was Acerbis and it cost me $49, I could have gotten the same one for $18 dollars if I knew it was going to so small. Looks are deceiving and its hard order parts not knowing what you getting until it actually arrives. It looks like the same one I bought in the past but only difference is its way too small for. I am looking for one that's the size of the Tusk Universal Light that's made for a 2014 XR650L, any help would be greatly appreciated

Do you have a high and low beam how did u set that up need help
