Cool vid bro. Subtle mods make the big difference. U can use TRANSLUCENT spray paint to change the color on the clock. Spray it on the inside of the clock lens. Being that the clock is green I think to use blue paint to balance it back to more of a white glow..... the more coats of paint applied the more the color would change. cheers man... keep it up

So just for extra brighteness you can just clean that off the back of the gauges and maybe leave some on those odd spots. I like the natural yellow of the bulbs and not to bright like the leda

In my EK I got the White Clock from a Civic coupe

The climate control buttons were replaced with the same bulbs you used for the cluster?

What size are the bulbs for the small cluster lights?I have an Ek as well & wana switch to Led

I think you can use the clock of the civic Coupe, as far as I know it's white.

I used red LEDs on my 91 EF cluster

jeez the parks look like my high beams lol do these hondas need these leds because you must remember there is a reason why they didnt come stock with leds I bought those cree c6 led's and they pull alot of current so now my radio grens when i drive at night with the radio on

Replace halogen with LED onetime. I used Acetone/nail polish remover. It will change the color of your cluster from orange to white when you remove that. Or possibly yellow if you keep the normal bulbs

The previous owner of my civic ej hatch has installed aftermarket faces. they work fine, they light good. but the needles dont light. everything is bright but the needles are completely black in the dark, i need 2 or 3 seconds to tell where they are (they have been painted red). can you give me some tips on how to light them up? can i find you on instagram?

You’ll need to replace 2 globes at the top of the cluster, they provide light for the needles. When you remove your cluster, you’ll see them quite easilly

@@CCDVIDEO i removed the cluster yesterday but apparently, the two black wires that go from the rear of the cluster to that part of the top, have been moved to another location, on the rear again, for more lighting i guess ?? they go to the bulb thats right over the many white holes lined up on the rear.. so i guess no power goes to the top part. also not only the bulbs are missing, but the things that the bulbs go in are missing from the top part. i guess getting a used cluster is easer, but can u help further?

You appear to perceive a problem with the aesthetics of the dashboard illumination. The difference was minimal so I would recommend that others save themselves the trouble and find something worthwhile to concern about.
