+atiboyful Katie Ledecky was born in Washington D.C., and she speak proper english (USA), but her father is from Czechoslovakia, and to me the name Ledecky sounds more a little bit Hungarian which was a neighbour country to Czechoslovakia, when her father moved to the USA.
