  I think the land known today as Montgomery County was initially part of Charles County, Maryland. Then it became a part of Prince George's County in 1696, Frederick County in 1748, and finally Montgomery County was formed in 1776.

  I was born in Silver Spring, Maryland and was raised in this building for the first 7 years of my life this was the reason why we moved to Florida because the living conditions 26 years later it still hasn’t changed

  I am from Bethesda originally. I saw the video about the history of Rockville Pike. At one point, Rockville Pike was re-named Wisconsin Avenue from D.C. into Bethesda before becoming Rockville Pike. The highway number was U.S. 240, later to become Md. 355. When did these changes take place?
