The joy in Homeskoolin is a chance to get a glimpse into your mind Tom. I can't ask Patrick Mahomes what he was seeing at the line or Lebron what he is working on with his jumpshot, but you give us unfettered access into a world we all dream about, yet never really see. Yeah this ⬆️. It’s nuts we now get guitar lessons, demos and insight from the best in the world (for free). Used to buy magazines, vhs concerts hoping for a blurb or a glimpse. Now we get a point of view perspective, weekly, checking out the fucking whizzer as you’re walking by it during rehearsal.

Hi Tom, not even sure where to begin. Don't stop talking to us. You are the kind of mentor/friend every musician needs. Its not just technique, licks, chops, its so much more....its a great human being who is a great musician just sharing his musical life with us. What is there not to love. And about offering your guitars, don't stop, we love seeing great old instruments, you have always been upfront about your guitar flipping. It may sound weird, but you have been such a bright spot out here in rural Oregon, and i love you for it. Enough, i could go on ad nauseam.

Hey Tom, just being yourself is what makes this work. Most of us know that’s how you roll. I had two guitar instructors growing up. The first one, although a great player, only spoke to admonish my pitiful skills. The second one would show me a cool concept to work on and then we’d sit and talk about anything and everything for hours. I learned a lot more from the second one. Many of us homeschoolers value your perspective and wisdom. I say talk as much as you want. I really appreciate your lessons, even those that extend beyond the fretboard. Thanks!

This is great! Loved the full circle conversation about HW being an alien and following little to nothing from his past, to you saying guys who do all these chops, but have no feel. For me much of the influence and feel comes from the foundation, I came from studying the ones before me. Using that confidence to branch out. I am sure there are many ways to get to the bullseye. To me it is very interesting how you, and others approach this. This was a stellar video my friend and has really got me thinking. Thanks so much for what you do!

And it isn't a walk in the park but when you get there so rewarding vs playing cover songs all your life and find your home being Original not get sucked into the Vortex of always end up sounding like a Cover band in the end ! I doubt anyone is going to find a more meaningful source of real world guitar playing information than 🤟the modest session man, Tom. One can learn more in one sentence from Tom than you might otherwise in a lifetime in regard to the pursuit of everything guitar - if one will only, listen. Certainly no one that I have ever seen enjoys playing and living everything music more. Home skoolin is a totally unique and genuine endeavor. All that said, the spontaneity of the channel is a great part of the overall charm of the channel. May it rock on and on ! 🍻💪🎸

First thanks for doing what you do, as far as drummers go I can relate. A good drummer leads and is the backbone that I lock in with. They make everyone in the band better and actually bring out the best in everyone. It can be a long night if you have a drummer that follows you. Again thanks and ROCK ON!!!
