Don't think I've ever heard a player talk about being in service to the instrument and the sounds it can produce. What a beautiful and profound perspective.
What an incredible touch he has. Every note he plays sounds like a million bucks.
Love Bryan's playing and his wisdom as well. Thank you Tom.
Good Lord Larry. Pure humility, generosity, and unscripted genius with you guys. 100% genuine and Zero hubris. Thank you lads
What a player, it's fantastic that you leech the amazing, hard-earned wisdom out of these guys, and manage to distill it into a tasty little half-hour soda. It's a great public service for guitarists. They should take all of the home schoolins and put them in the library of congress, an amazing amount of accumulated knowledge being transfered to future generations. Good on you, uncle larry.

Thank you bro
This is probably my favorite episode with a guest. Brian is truly a real blessing to the ears and obviously wonderful to work with. Thanks so so much for sharing this uncle Larry.
I wish Bryan would just make more KZread videos like this himself. Sure I know he has Artist Works but these candid things are so cool. Plus those three guitars just sound KILLER!
"Did you ever go through an Ovation stage? "killed me Tom! Too funny, the comedy never stops! So wonderful to hear Bryan's wisdom about acoustics, thanks so much!

Yes I heard the question, however Sutton seemed to sidestep giving a reply. A private joke among pros.

Feels like stealing getting so much wisdom that took a man a lifetime of playing with and for musical giants to learn. And we get it for free. Thats the way its felt since the first home schoolin episode. Thank you Tom and Bryan for the kindness yall show total strangers. You guys are the musical giants of today.

I ended watching this twice: Once, to listen to the Bryan’s playing… and then a second time to listen to your conversation. Every time Bryan began playing everything else became white noise! I am so grateful for how often my jaw drops, watching you all play.

This is by far the best music channel on the tube.
Thank you...Thank you, the wealth of knowledge that you both share is incredible, I went and grabbed my acoustic and started playing some chords and used Bryan's technique of using the forearm to give the guitar a different type of effect...wow, so cool. You guys are the best, keep up the great work Tom, and your solo CD, Plexi Soul is a great listen
Started Bryan's Artistworks course after hearing him talk about music and playing in your interviews with him. The course is deep, technically brilliant and generous. Thanks for all the skoolin Tom. It's a wonderful channel.

Thank you for this, and all of your videos - it means a lot to a 44 year old falling back in love with guitar like he was back in 8th grade or so. Much love, my friend.
Bryan’s playing is absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this moment with us all Uncle Larry!
This is one of several episodes that I just keep coming back to over and over. Buk, thanks for introducing me to Bryan, a badass acoustic player who not only slays with his instrument, but can also wax eloquently on the equivalence of sound and light. I freakin love this guy. Killer man. Love to you both 🎸👍
What an amazing video lesson. Unreal.
Pure Gold. Thank you!
We needed this. Thanks Tom!
Uncle Larry, wow. This vid again totally blows my mind. Hard to describe how valuable these are as I am a longtime acoustic nerd. I have been stuck in my own playing routines for years but every time I watch these vids my mind and head open up and boom, I feel super motivated and try to push the limits, learn that sh#*¥. Thanks for the input, honestly I think I have been waiting for your channel for a looooong time. What a gift.
