I've done this before, but I don't recommend you guys to do this. Jigsaw is the safest power saw due to the blade being below and facing away from you, but this makes it one of the most dangerous saw, and from my own experience, it is easier to use a jigsaw the way it is supposed to be used than this. The only benefit this can have is scrolling, but buying a scroll saw would be a better option.

True but not everyone can afford tons of power tools. In my jigsaw I can turn the blade around backwards & make cuts pulling towards me for inside cuts. It's a little weird but marginally safer

Une scie à ruban s'utilise exactement de la même façon du coup en quoi vous trouvez ça plus dangereux ???
Now I know what to do with my old jigsaw. Thank you!
Made a copy today and refined it a bit. It works great. Cost nearly nothing, great idea.
아주 간단하고 튼튼한 테이블이 만들어 졌네요? 잘보고 갑니다. 감사합니다.
Felisidades amigo super tu proyecto saludos desde Hidalgo Mexico
Nice work. The delicate jigsaw blade is most vulnerable at the bends, so Before starting it, Drill small holes with dia equal to the jigsaw blade at the bends. This will protect your blade by making the turn easy.

What makes the Bandsaw blade seem to cut curves much much more easier if I may ask? Is it like the belts or motor strength or something, because they seem like a similar blade to the jig saw?

@@WebCatTV blade on bansaw has two points of support. This allows you to use a thinner saw blade.

I liked when you drill holes in plywood you drill the work bench too! 👏
Cool. Bravo
Had this idea in my head. Thanks for finishing the plans and making my life easier!
Excellent creativity. Simple and quick build.
Excelente proyecto, felicitaciones
I just passed on bidding on and purchasing a vintage scroll saw because the shipping was $40 (shipping weight 73lbs, actual weight under 12lbs). So I thought, well I already have a jig saw, why not just build my own table for it? Then your vid pops up as recommended! 👍 🤝
Excellent idea as opposed to buying a band saw, this would do the job just as well.
You are a wonderful and simple professional man. Please continue I have benefited a lot
Very good,,,,, thank you very much for your jigsaw idea,,, your video saved me a bundle of money,,, I was going to buy one of the expensive bandsaw to do craft work but because of your idea I can use your jigsaw idea and save some money,,,,,, thank you
6.5 million views! Crazy man i remember when i was about 11 or 12 i used to have a little woodwork shed in the back garden and i wanted a table saw really bad but being a dangerous tool my mum wouldnt let me have one haha so i improvised and made this with a 9 pound jigsaw from argos! Worked suprisingly well! Good times!

Simple but very efficient. Cool 👍
You should wait until blade stops before lifting up the mitre saw, when you lift it up and its still spinning you can get a kickback, take care man

It’s not a miter saw by the way. It’s a make shift arrangement of circular saw on a hinges. In India it’s called a Jugaad. Nevertheless he does remarkable job.

Hello! First of all, congratulations for your work and abilities, my father and I are amazed by them. I'm translating to my father some instructions and measures from some of your projects (we are Brazilian). Do you have the measures for this jigsaw table, or it is relative to the machine that he has? Thank you.
Definitely building one of these but I’ll add some T tracks & a rip fence. Nice video 👍
