So I just read not to give your cat more than 1 level tablespoon per week, otherwise the cat will store the excess Vit A in their own liver and it can cause problems later on in life. I see your cat loves it, but I don't know...

Oh man I needed this comment. My kitties like when I put raw chicken liver in a blender then cook the pate. They eat it like candy! I’ll use some moderation from now on, but I was loving how cheap it was!

How long did you cook it? Did you put salt?

it is without salt. I cooked it so that it was not raw.

I tried boiling chicken liver for short time but my cats start vomiting after eating this recipe! But the next time I boiled the chicken liver for around 45 minutes..and everything was fine 🙂

Boil liver for at least 30 min or more that will be good for your cat😺

@@user-mb1nd7yq5j I think the commercial kibble is junk but the good stuff which is freeze dried or dehydrated is very expensive. It is actually quite scientific to feed your pet a balanced homeade food. This will definitely lead to severe trouble, unless she only adds this to balanced food. I don’t know what your budget is but the less processed the better. Do your homework and research how dangerous this is. Tiki branded Wet cat food is pricey but it is balanced, wet, and if you can afford it then I would give it. Even if you gave them Half of what your giving and half tiki if you can’t afford it. Kibble is over processed. Cats aren’t meant to eat a bunch of grains either, but you can’t give them a single source of meat without balanced vitamins trace minerals etc. believe me this is DANGEROUS. Try the tiki wet food and at least mix it with whatever you are buying.

I wish my cat would eat the liver… I had 2 livers to spare and after I boiled them she took one sniff and ran away 😮

Ok but what is the use case for this? A treat? It's not ok to just feed cats nothing but liver, or that quantity of liver every day even with other stuff. You should have explained that so people don't think they can do this in place of a balanced diet =/

Uh... Do you realize this is for cats? Why would animals need seasoning on anything? There are herbs and spices that cats can have, but they don't need or desire them in their food.

I thought it was supposed to be raw and not cooked? Oh my God I'm so confused I'm trying to save my cat who seems to be going blind for 3 days off 3 days on I've taken him to 20 Dr trips and six different doctors and nobody can figure it out so I'm trying to feed him more raw food cuz somebody said it might be a lack of taurine. But the more videos I watch the more I get confused... It's raw from animals they eat outside. I thought cooking it gets rid of all the nutrients

Hello, hows your cat? Can you tell me about the cat's diet before showing sign of blindness? Also how old it is? And maybe a bit of what the vets suspect to be the reason of its blindness. I'm neither a vet nor expert , but I do have experience in taking care of many cats for 20 years. Maybe I have one or two experience that you can use for reference.

Cooking is necessary because cut meat can get in contact with bacteria. When cats eat raw meat it's from an animal that just died. But when you cut open the meat you expose it and bacteria can find it's way there

@@fabulousimcatbulous690 hello ! Well thank you so much for the response !! You don't know how much I appreciate that but I have seemed to have solved his problem . He was on .25 CBD oil and he's a larger than an average cat so I bumped him up to .5 and whatever was making him go blind that cured it! Go figure . It was a very heartbreaking last 3 months watching this and who would have thought upping his CBD oil would take care of the problem but I still don't know what was doing it. All the doctors I went to did agree he had back pain and I read somewhere that their eyes will dilate so much from pain that they'll go blind so that gave me the thought to raise the dosage. It's a long story but I was watching him jump from his cat tower onto the bed one day and thought that's not good and I think that's how he messed up his back. But thank you much !!!

@@coredadventure1 Glad that it already solved. If you didnt do it yet, I'd like to suggest an Xray to the back. Because afaik CBD oil are only good to suppress the pain and not alleviate the source problem. Thankfully your cat is fine now, do give my hello to him/her from me.

@@viviana8577 in my experience cooking is not a necessary step. It's more of a "just to be safe" step. I have fed several cats and helped the transition of many more with raw uncooked food for decades and they're fine. Just to be sure, I never say that cooked food is bad, do cook it if you want but please learn about how to do it properly. It's just I prefer raw because I'm afraid of ruining the nutrient and my cats dislike cooked food. I also took steps to make sure my meat sourced from credible store, I even meet with the owner and visit their butchery. Tldr Cooking it is safer but not really necessary.

I have yet to see any cat boil it's food....they crave want and need what nature intended....IN MODERATION !!!
