Dennis Briggs was once arrested and had over $30,000 on him. That was in 2017. I used to see him all the time in Wooster and always felt sorry for him. He needs mental help but has refused it. He has been given places to live and chose not to stay. I know he had a job a Walmart. Two stories have circulated about what caused him to get fired. He says it was because he is homeless, others say he started a fight. Considering he once had a sign saying that Wooster was filled with devil worshipers and the fact that he has yelled at people (not just cops) makes me think that the reason may be a bit of both. He and another homeless man were attacked by some guys last spring, a few months after this video was taken. I am sure that had a lot to do with him leaving. The men were sentenced to 8 years.

She said the box was reading hot. I messed up a large portable dryer by only having it 5 inches from the wall instead of six and it was in the summertime with air on. It needed the airflow space of 6 or more inches from the wall and it cost as much as a full-size dryer to replace. Maybe she was doing her job and did not need to be called names. She did not call him anything. I was homeless but never sounded foul mouth like this guy. At work, there are homeless that cost the hospital tons of money because they come in 3 or 4 times a week but they are welcomed and we feed them and let them sleep and give them bus and taxi passes and I have seen cops break the rules and give them money. But there are are some that cuss and yell and are foul- mouth like this guy and they get told to leave after they have been seen and you don't care to really help them beyond the free medical services they get but most of the time there is nothing wrong and they just want to sleep and get something to eat. This guy is an ass.

He needs mental help. I mean that sincerely. I live near Wooster and used to see him all the time. He was once arrested with over $30,000 on him. He has been given money, places to live, etc... He once had a sign that said Wooster was full of Satan worshippers. He also had a job at Walmart at one point. He has said he was fired because he is homeless, although, anyone who is in and around Wooster knew he was homeless and the general locations he stayed, which was right by Walmart. Others have said it was because he started a fight with someone. When he and another homeless man were violently beaten in April(?) 2019 by some guys, the police were quick to find the criminals and arrest them. They were sentenced to 8 years.

And just pointing out city owned property is technically public property as it is paid for by tax. So long as your not damaging it then it isn’t a issue. And if you listen closely you would realize in the end of the conversation the male officer had with Andy on the phone it sound pretty definitive that yes Andy did tell him that he could in deed be right where he is.

That whole supervisor thing is an urban legend. In some jurisdictions it's required by code, but not all by any means. In any case it wouldn't qualify as a "right"...the fathers probably didn't forsee our own peacekeepers turning into Nazis in the very streets they swore to protect and serve in...oh yeah, they cashed that in, now it's just "enforce laws", well codes and statutes anyway. Well, more take notes about codes and statutes being broken after the fact and try to incriminate the victim so they'll have a knock off thier quota that doesn't exist down. And then rewrite it later to be more convenient for prosecutors. And sweep any indiscretions under the mat, tidy up a bit, you know...duck responsibility for thier actions. He had printed and gives out cards to the homeless - the cards contain the pastor's number and the address of his church where the people can come for help. Over the years, he has given thousands of cards to homeless people. 0 have come for the help. I will remember I said this, serpent. Remember that I step on serpents' heads - tell your master that. If I were homeless and someone offered help, I would take it. The homeless are a scourge. A year ago a homeless guy ran into the street. I swerved to avoid him. Instantly, a police car in the distance behind me hit his lights, pulled me over. I received a ticket for entering a left turn lane but not turning left - I did that to avoid hitting the homeless guy. The officer told me to tell it to the judge when I mentioned swerving to avoid a homeless person. The judge said she didn't have time. I ended up with over $300 in fines and expenses for that ticket. The homeless are a scourge. In June, a homeless guy took exception to me not giving him money - I said nothing. He got upset, "you give me nothing and ignore me like I'm nothing." He attacked me. I did have mercy on him, I only fought him to the ground rather than beat him to a pulp. He and other homeless people tried to claim I had attacked him. When the police arrived, they were going to arrest me for assault. Good thing a bystander who had seen the whole thing ran over to tell the cops what really happened. The homeless are a scourge. If you took away every penny I have, I'd still not end up homeless. I know how to work. I don't get gooped up on drugs and alcohol. There but for the Grace of God go I - the lessons I learned and the actions I take to do hard work and live a clean life. It's about actions. These people are not victims. They are a scourge.

How about instead of "Dennis get your shit away from there", try "Dennis is there anything I can do to help ya out dude?"

My point is that being homeless and getting bullshit misdemeanors that get dismissed isn't an issue; it can actually be a tactic to get some food and shelter, as well as checking into a hospital for a 5150 hold. This particular guy has a decent sized, condensed camp pack, albeit at an intersection as opposed to an encampment off the beaten path. My point is that most unsheltered folks don't give a fuck about jail, it's just free food and shelter. The issue always is whether or not your camp is secure. Getting arrested there with that Klansman woman and the cuck backup who arrived would almost assure that they would call to have his stuff destroyed just out of spite. He knows this.

And her voice.. It grades directly against my spine. I physically can't take much more of her mouth. If forced to listen to her for any amount of time, there would be a very real chance of developing PTSD. Could you imagine the chaos that must be going on inside her household. She obviously doesn't command any sort of respect or real obedience sounding like that fevered starving ego that we hear here, but on the job, she can flex her badge muscle and get a taste of what she has never earned or deserved. Back at home, though, the badge comes off easier than the lipstick glitter and perfume thats always on her boyfriend/husband. Comes off easier than the truth comes off of her miscreant lying children whom taught themselves dihonesty as a coping mechanism for dealing with the unjustifed need for control that they will have been raised by. Hopefully she cannot have any children because they could all end up another point on murder/suicide scoreboard. Chalk 1 down for team #momwithagun.

This is heartbreaking! This poor man is homeless and set up shelter that isn't hurting anyone. There are people out there stealing, abusing and breaking other laws that these cops should be focused on. I couldn't finish the video but I wish Dennis the best.

This is a dam shame. I am embarrassed that stuff like this happens in my country all the time. The solution to homelessness can easily be solved but the people that can fix it have never been homeless or even met someone that has been.

She claimed she would not call the sargeant, the at one point she told him the sargeant was on his way,, then the other cop claimed no sargeant on duty.. She just didn't give a darn what the sargeant (her commanding officer) told him previously. She was only concerned that she wasn't getting her way! I'd hate to be in her spouse's shoes.. lol

Wait the seargent is taking calls right now? When the 2nd cop showed up he said there was no seargent on duty. Always lying. Can't trust a single word out of a cops mouth. And that female cop is a joke.

As a former homeless person who had no idea of their rights, I still have deep wounds that are still healing from how many many people treated me, including many cops. I have a "criminal record" and have even gone to jail for all bs crimes and then not being able to make it to court and get additional charges. All because I was lost and ended up there running from a traumatic childhood, and I have submitted to authority my whole life until learning my rights. This is heartbreaking but also somehow healing, I'm glad he actually knows his rights and stands up for them. I wish this guy the best and my heart breaks for him, though I'm working to be a voice for the vulnerable whose voices go unheard. The homeless are the most vulnerable with the hardest lives, without cops taking your stuff and arresting you and trespassing from places, and just making your life harder.

Dont mess with the homeless when its cold out. It literally becomes a matter of life and death.

Wish she would get fired and become homeless herself, it's wrong this is how our tax dollars are being used, I don't want these cops in my town

These kind of cops are in every town. If you stand up to them they will target you. They will pull you over for no reason then say they smell marijuana giving them a reason to search. While they search they take bags of drugs from their pockets and say they found it in the vehicle. Police are the most useless corrupt and dangerous people on the planet

I don't think its normal, I said its sad. A recent study states 63% of Americans don't have savings to cover a $500.00 dollar Emergency! As of 11/1/19, 78% of workers live paycheck to paycheck (according to Forbes). So the fact that I said that's sad, does make it " normal " considering most Americans fall into the above category. What code is that of 6 inches away from back the control box. The clearance is from the front of the controller unless it is an appliance creating heat. An Electrical inspector she is not.
