great attempt in Kerala State, India. Thermocol walls, Gypsum internal wall lining, with thermal insulation reduces the internal room temperature. means, less AC capacity, less power consumption. but more the glass area, more the heat to rooms. In middle east, hot area, for traditional construction used minimum glass window size. add to this, designer detailed sun shade structures for windows and open areas. Roof, 100mm. hd thermocoll panels are used.
