Friend, I've been in LE for over 35 yrs. I've shot 2 qualifications and 2 practices yearly. Do the math. FBI/Blackwater qual ranges. You, my friend, are fast! Humble and modest. Good shooting. Good video. Don't mind the naysayers. When I build my range, like you, I've had enough expertise training to where i can now enjoy shooting rather then freakin dreading it. Good on you!!!

Congrats on the very effective bullet trap build! FWIW, I wouldn't be so cavalier about handling the lead fragments/dust. Stay safe!
Im so glad you are making videos more frequently again. You have a way of cutting through the BS and making informative videos. Very enjoyable.
I really want to build something like this. It beats the hell out of "mining the berm" like I do. I wanted to mention that the lead dust you get when emptying the trap and shaking the bucket is the most dangerous way to expose yourself to lead. If the pipe were open ended at the bottom and had a angled baffle where it could slowly drop the fragments and dust into a bucket of water you could reduce your exposure to that dust to almost nothing. As long as you didnt add that wet lead to already molten lead no issue there either. And not to really sound like a safety sally (I hate them too), dogs love to watch you weld, but it causes them to go blind just like it would us. Keep that in mind.
Great target & trap! Thanks for sharing not only the design but also the demonstration to prove it works. Well done!
Same situation. I think I will try to make one. Thanks for posting. Great video.
That trap is awesome Brandon great design especially for the first prototype.
Great job! My dad build one similar when I was a about ten years old we used it a lot, collected our lead, molded our bullets, reloaded and shot again. I have no idea where it ended up, but I sure would like to have it today. Very nice video and thanks for sharing!!
Really enjoyed this video - great design, well-filmed, informative and overall quite watchable! Keep up the good work, you’ve got something going here....
This was exactly what I have been looking for as well. Very nice.
I love it. Smart design and build.
Very cool. I like how you just went at the project and figured it out on your own. Self reliance means loads in this world.
Super useful video that speaks to the absolute need to intelligently "cut-corners" so to speak where one can nowadays...American ingenuity, gotta love it--Definitely smart thinking that should translate into a trophy or two...Love the yellow Lab. Happy Holidays to All!
Right on. I have been thinking of something like what you have. GREAT WORK and Vid. Yer dog looks like a winner
Wow. I didn't expect you to be able to draw and reload that fast. You seem like such a calm relaxed dude. Best of luck in the competitions. I hope you make POV GoPro videos when you do go out to competitions as I would really enjoy watching your growth in the sport.
Very impressed with your design. Never watched one of your videos before but looking forward to more. You are interesting plus loved the humor! When you started the timed shooting you taught me some great stuff to try and work on. Plus you had me laughing very hard at times. Great videos and like I said looking forward to more. Take Care and be safe!
Awesome trap, would like to see more of you and Kirsti shooting challenges
Brandon, I'm fine with the new name. I've been looking at your stuff for a couple years now, and I think it's GREAT. Keep up the good work.
What a great idea, looks nice and performs well too. I know you'll be topping the shooting sports before long. Congrats on all your success buddy!
very clever design. you'll probably start getting requests to build those for other high volume shooters.
You done a fantastic job!!
super slick design brandon looks great
That's an awesome trap Brandon! Hope you had a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year! Peace, David
great video! me and my pops just watched and were heading out get materials to build our own monday!
My gosh that Apex trigger is like butter, definitely going to buy one now!
Wow!!! You did great on that trap!!!!!
Great job!! love the design! you have a marketable product there!
Nice video as usual. I miss Kentucky so I enjoy the back drop as well as the shooting:)
Dude that is awesome. I am definitely making this. Thanks for sharing.
That's an awesome setup.
Excellent idea! Keep up the great vids Brother!!
Awesome! Love your channel Brandon! Keep it up
That is a very impressive bullet trap. Nice job there.
Nice set up Brandon. Happy New Year!
very nice build Brandon.
Nice idea and well made!
Very well done, Brandon!
Apex is awesome. Not only do they make great triggers, but their customer service is unbeatable. I had a flat advanced trigger for my P320. After the P320 recall they took back the original trigger and sent the new replacement trigger 100% free no postage either way. All that for something that was absolutely not their fault.
Great job on the trap!
The dog needs a welding mask. Great job! I just picked up the steel today I want to copy your exact design. Thanks for posting!
Very nice bullet trap! Great demonstration!

Excellent job bud.
Damn, that's awesome!
Awesome build and idea!
Awsome work.
Awesome job dude!
Great video on your build. Can't wait for the review on the flat faced trigger from APEX.
Great work!
Looking forward to that review of the flat faced apex trigger and how it compares to the curved apex trigger. Keep up the good work.
I would love to see a comparison of TSJ vs FMJ on this bullet trap. If possible maybe even a high speed camera on the TSJ rounds in flight. Great Video and thanks for sharing!
I love this video and I'd like to see more like it so I think you should make cool gun inventions on your channel more often
Awesome setup! Should pay for itself in no time. Might have to make my own sometime.
love it. thank you very much for the information sir.
Awesome design.
Just awesome. I want one!
Great idea I am going to build one like this.
Nice looking old Ford at the top of the driveway. btw nice invention deVinci.
ballsy shooting those slugs! great target man.
I like the idea of putting everything at angles so as to increase the thickness of metal in relation to the bullet's flight path. Same idea as armor on tanks. Someone did mention that it would be more like perfect if the angle of one of the sides continued past the other so as to make it impossible to hit the pipe in the middle. That way when you pump up your Sheridan more than 10 pumps, you don't send a pellet thru it.😉. Seriously though, best looking bullet trap I have seen! Great job. Don't breathe in that lead dust man!
Wow, nice job!!!
Nice, very cool design, btw a humble shooter is always better than excuses, live seeing that
Great video as usual!
Very nice. Great build for the savings.
Very smart. Well done
U the man I am impressed good job
This is fantastic!!
Great idea for saving lead for recasting. Only one improvement I could think of besides the "tip off bottom" mentioned by the welder guy, was that one plate should be longer than the other so no shots could go directly into the pipe. With a slight overlap but still a space between, the shots will always hit plate even though the pipe is pretty tough. The overlap with a space will also guarantee that no lead will ever bounce back or out of the device, though it would still be rare with your design. Good luck and keep shootin'.
Well done, NICE!!!
Great idea!
Great Job!
Love the bullet catch thingamajig! And, love your channel name!! GUN-TIME with Brandon!! Im a geezer Brandon, the name you chose works great! Gun time. Tells us what you do. What we like to see. You spending time with guns. Me watching.
Nice work.
Brandon, You need to have the plans for the bullet trap available for others! I would like to build one like it!!!
Very cool man!
Looks great ... would you think it might work on a 30-06, mr-15, and other rifles? Or might the side plates need to be a bit thicker? Or you think it's more for a hand gun?
Great idea!!
That trap makes a lot of lead dust. Nice shooting. Be safe
I wish that's how much primers and powder cost now! Awesome video Brandon.
Same trigger I have in my M&P 9 pro and I must agree, it's the cats meow. That gun with that trigger don't get much better!
Awesome video
What a great idea. You should sell these things!
Nice work!
Looks pretty good brother. Cipher
that was interesting to watch bru! wish i had the machining skills to do this type of thing. good vid.
i love it.. i wanna build one now.
I didn't realize you started making videos again; welcome back... if that applies. :) I need to make a bullet trap myself. I hope it works good for you!
I like the bullet trap. Thats an awesome idea. You are correct on the slugs. They are hard on steel targets. Also i thought you was cooking on the parr time and you say it was awful.
Great idea
Well done target trap and cool new name.
Awesome!
good job,,, neat design
let's go brandon!
Great! thanks for sharing!
Great trap!
