I have to say that I absolutely love your home. You and your husband have done such a wonderful job with the painting and wallpaper…great choices I might add! I really like these old homes: high ceilings, the wood work, the original wood floors, door knobs and knob plates. But I think the best thing is is that you have the beautiful light fixtures still in tact! I like the fact that they used brass, different colored glass for the design, the scroll work on the body of the lamp/light, to the patina on the brass work itself is a work of art in of itself. This home is surely an old soul which turned into a labor of love…a magnificent gem!

I’m always sad when your videos end. I just love your home and make overs. I’m anxiously awaiting your kitchen makeover.

Christina! This makeover is so amazing in so many ways! Aesthetically beautiful with your colors, furnishings, wallpaper and attention to how it all comes together. Even your pups match your color scheme! I'm also in awe of your energy and athleticism to paint it all by brush and to go up and down that ladder and scrunch into corners. Wow, I love the make overs of your home. The colours palette is gorgeous and I agree in this area it does make the chandeliers pop. I also enjoy your videos, they are so soothing and a great mix of decor, DIY and animals content.

I love wallpaper !! This vídeo reminded me of my Home in the city of Valdivia (southern Chile). The architecture of this house is almost identical to my childhood Home. TO REMEMBER IS TO LIVE !!

Good morning Christina, this video was so enjoyable. It is always exciting to plan new colours for the room make over, but be prepared, it will take time. The room does look more airy and much lighter which was your goal. Sometimes I like to sit and have a real smart tea and the round table with the wingback chairs is just what is needed for such an occasion. I think the table is going to become a future remake project, maybe a beautiful decoupage table. Depending on how the main structure of a house is designed, with a bit of initiative and planning we can get so much more from it. Even though this was a more working/painting project we can still pick-up much information re brushes and paint techniques, depending what you are willing to do. When we have animals living inside more than out, there is much consideration to take in account re their safety inside. The wall paper worked like a charm. The chandeliers are so charming and I never noticed the brick arches before...

I love these makeovers. Omg I can’t believe wallpaper is coming back. I did so much in the 90’s however then wallpaper came pre-pasted and was much cheaper. Your decision on the raised pattern is lovely.

Like always….. you transformed another space, in your home, with such class and sophistication. I get so sad when the video is over. Lol I want to see more.

overall, your usual superb loveliness. Options I would choose: start with the next bigger size rug for exquisite wingback chairs and table and pull that whole unit closer towards the desk; place the black chairs in each of the corners and put the plants where the chairs are now; replace mirrors on either side of windows with longer more slender ones.

Wonderful updates! You mentioned spray painting outside. A little tip. I buy small aluminum pans with plastic lids and they're marvelous for spray painting. I spray in my garage and as soon as I get done spraying, I pop the lid on and take in the house. The lid keeps the paint inside the pan, no leaks. These cheap pans are great and I reuse over and over. I've even done this outside in the cold and ran the pan, with lid on, into the house. I do this at a fast pace too. Gets the job done for me.

Tip for air pokets, use a syringe with wall paper glue . Does the trick better than a spatula or brushes! It also woks to glue wood vernier.
