Beautiful location-I could spend days and days there!! I love the chair Annie was painting with the circles-I would love to see the finished piece.
I LOVE the muted colours, especially that mustard yellow. I was wondering how you found the confidence, I suppose you could call it to just embrace and enjoy your own style? How do you just enjoy what YOU love and not give a damn about negativity from others because it’s not to their taste? I’d love to spend a day with you, Annie. You’re such a stylish, passionate woman. You answered your own question there Laura! Just embrace yourself and your own style.
I think the best thing about chalk paint - annie's in particular - is that it enables so many pieces of furniture to be 'reclaimed' rather than thrown away. I hate the disposable IKEA model - cheap, poorly made and made to be chucked as tastes change. Now, solid, well made furniture can be painted and made desirable again. What an achievement!
