I work with a friend of mine who makes cheesecakes from home and sells it through Instagram. And I'm being asked to grow her account but i dont know what content to post and she wants difference but will not make anything other that basque cheesecake and ny cheesecake, and honestly I've never used social media my whole life and being asked to do this is uncharted territory for me and i dont know what to do to help her grow and how to bring difference without making any other recipes. Can you help me get clarity on what to do and how to do it?

Something you can work on is making her account a bit more personal. Showing her HUMANITY is vital in a Home Bakery Business. I always tell my students to put the "home" in Home Bakery. Here are some ways I encourage my students to do this: 1. Show your FACE! I'm forever grateful to @carlabiesinger for stretching me outside my comfort zone on this one! For the first 2 years in my Home Bakery, I was so shy. I NEVER showed my face anywhere on Instagram. This was such a big mistake! I know it's difficult, but I urge you to be bold and SHOW YOUR FACE on Instagram! Use a photo of yourself as your profile photo. And use your first name in your profile! The fact that you, a real person, is baking everything they see is a MAJOR asset to your business! Don’t hide the fact that YOU are the baker. 2. Spend 15 minutes a day supporting other bakers on Insta - find them by searching hashtags like #homebakers #homebaking, etc. then SUPPORT those bakers and ENGAGE with them. Build relationships and HAVE FUN! 3. I see the captions on your photos are a bit short. When you just say the name of the cake there isn't much for people to connect with, so they won't like and comment as much. I encourage you to write the STORY behind each cake. Ask yourself: "Why did I start making this cake in the first place? Why do I love making it so much? Is there anything from a client testimonial that I can share about this cake?" When you share these stories, you start speaking to people’s hearts and it helps them to connect to your posts (and your business) a lot better. If you keep persisting with these tips, you’ll start seeing a drastic change over the next few months! It's great that you want to learn more about creating engaging content.
