jesus fuck why was it so hard for everyone else to give a visual demo on this optic. THANK YOU.
YOU HAD THE BEST VIDEO AND EXPLINATION ON THE OPTICS. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
Oh man! The Edge mode is so clean!
Another great video
Thanks for the closing it up. No other videos have done that and it kinda needs that to know what it will be like.
Awesome!
So cool
Need it now
Spoke to holosun Q1 of 2024 !
Looks awesome but I will hold my breath until detection range is disclosed

@@trypwired Hope it's more than that, 68m is just too short for anything beyond CQB =(
@UrbanDefenseSystems

@@grim3897 Yeah, I think it's meant for CQB since it's on a red dot. The MSRP on these things is supposed to be about 2500, which is what a Pulsar scope with 1600 yards range costs. So it basically is going to come down to whether you want something for CQB, or for long range.

@@grim3897 To be very honest, 68 meters is actually more than serviceable in most scenarios unless you are in far open woodlands and plains kind of situation. In most urban and suburban settings 68 meters is actually plenty of range to work with. Hell, most gunfights outside of military situations happen within 50 meters and that is counting cases where rifles were used.

@@borrago Realistically, when are you ever going to be using a non-optically magnified optic, at night, more than 100 yards away? Sure it has "zoom", but it's purely digital and gets worse the higher you go. It only looks quite clear here because they're so close. This is certainly not a ranged optic, but it most definitely has a market. It looks nice.

Shouldn't make a difference because it's a thermal. They work just as well during the day as they work at night.

love using these things in DMZ the biggest perk of which is being able to see through smoke (although I have no idea if it'll do that in real life)

Don't support a company that is actively trying to take away our freedom. If they ban content creators for speaking up to protect our children from the LGBT community then we should not be giving them our time and money. Boycott them and force a recognition of what they are doing wrong.

Depends on the temperature of the smoke. It's thermal. It picks up temperature.

that thermal isnt probably only going to seen up to 100m if lucky with how small that lens is, whats the point of a 8x zoom, and if the lcd is on the outside on the flip up probably going to break easy, ill stick to a clip-on

I want to be able to run a rifle system in the dark at minimal cost. Im just learning about NV and thermal. The Steiner CQT seems to answer my problems but is 10k. My main goal would be against home intruder at night without giving away my position or scanning property field at night without giving away position with the ability to fire. Im NOT looking to go up against military or police so in a real world scenario the opponent WOULDNT have NV or thermal. Help plz?

Honestly, if it's mostly for home defence and you don't wanna spend NV prices, just get a good weapon mounted flashlight.

I have NVGs and an ECOTI, but white light is my home defense strategy. The reason is simple: 90% of the time I'm training, I'm not using NODs. I don't know anyone that practices more under NODs than normal conditions, so it seems normal to defend your life using white light. For hunting, thermal is king for detection but NVGs are far clearer for identification unless you're running some $6k+ thermal.
What’s up with the floating mismatched reticle? I assume there’s some co-alignment between the led projector and the thermal that needs to happen that hasn’t?

But in a military setting, it will just make your face glow bright for enemy NVG, right? Imagine if we have a display that can be hooked onto the helmet and connects to this optic.
