I’ve heard nothing but good things about this optic, especially for the price point. I guess if recording is more important to you, go spend money on something else.

If I worked for Holosun in any meaningful capacity, I’d have NEVER let this go public with this performance.

Ok...who buys a rifle sight so they can record...footage with...it? Question: does it allow you to make solid shots in the dark to a reasonabe distance, and does it suitably do the job of both a daytime as well as night time optic? I don't think anyone really cares if it can record or not. If you want to record things at night...you know...buy a camera maybe *shrug*. Just an odd thing to fixate on.

People that might be using it for hunts. People who might want to have recorded footage for any number of other reasons. That recording ability costs money AND you’re paying for it. The footage is absolute dogshit and it never should have been released like this.

@@OBNXS1 There are much better optics to use for night hunts that are actually designed for, you know, night hunts. This is clearly a primarily *tactical* weapon sight, designed for killing shit during the day as well as the night without having to hang a bunch of accessories (clip-on NV, IR illum, etc.) off your rifle. Being able to record has 0 tactical value, and I wouldn't even consider it a secondary function. I feel like you're kind of criticizing a hammer for not being able to saw through a tree. Just...odd.

I think you missed the point on this product. Most people dont buy a Fusion Red Dot NV scope to record with. And it isnt really geared towards hunting, its more of a "tactical" scope.

You don’t think this would be used to record any predator/hog hunts?! Or provide footage if you WERE using it for a “tactical” reason? EVERY digital scope/NV has recording capabilities…because it gets used. The recordings on this one are unusable AND you’re paying for it.

@OBNXS1 Fudd response is fudd. If people want to record a hunt, they can buy a syonix and do so in 4k. If you are recording on anything else that isnt thermal or a dedicated low light cam you are wasting your time. The main appeal of this is seeing in the Dark and shooting, not vidography. If your doing Night hunts on this small of a budget and want full features, then night hunting probably isnt for you budget wise. Plus, what psycho want videos of all their kills? 🤔

I got this thing with an eotech magnifier. I dont even use the NV lol it's a good glass and it's a good setup. Only time I have ever used the NV is for hogs if I hear some noise at night and it has worked great. I have a ranch so it's been good for 100yards. To each their own. But yeah if I have to get up at 1am to deal with a hog problem recording what's going on is the least of my concerns. Good thing I'm not a FUD I guess.

bad review. bad priorities when it comes to the sight and what it is. you call everyone who disagrees a simp for holosun and your footage is agressively bad. ive seen plenty of footage of guys with no subs, livihng in other countries using it, or here in the USA huntiong coyotes. and each time it was very good for the price. what you did was purposeful;ly try to make it as bad as possible while highlighting things you dont like that nobody else who gets this will care about. youre a veteran im assuming talking about stuff that nobody cares about. mabye you like farming rage. but for anyone curious about someone who is trying to use this properly, do not rely on this channel.

Yup. This guy is something else. Doesn't get what the product is even aimed towards and gets pissy when someone calls him out on it. If you want to record specifically, you can buy something to record with for the same price, or spend more and get a high end thermal/nods.
