Hello everyone, this video is very exciting, because I'm not only trying to make beautiful coasters, but I also compare 4 different white pigment paste. I love the scalloped edge of this mold, but more so love how beautifully your flowers always turn out.

They are so beautiful Petra. I adore the mold from Molds and Shapes. The alcohol ink pattern looked like pansies before the white, and the testing of the pastes was very interesting. Great glitter.

I love the colors, Petra! You have such a great sense of color! The flowers are really nice, but yours always are. 👍😊 I have GOT to get that mold! I keep putting it off because shipping overseas is so costly these days. Thank you for experimenting so much for us! You, and other resin artists who experiment like this, are so invaluable to your viewers. You have probably saved a lot of aggravation and money for a lot of folks! Hmmm. Perhaps you could wait a bit longer before adding any white paste...maybe 5 or 10 minutes, then try it again? Or, switch to a medium viscosity resin, as Julie suggested, then take the temperature? I wish good success for you, as you work out the perfect way to achieve what you want...I hope I am watching when that happens! 😊

I would like to see you take the resins temperature. Pipe at 40 degrees celcius with a medium viscosity resin :)

wowwwwww petra . i saw this video i loved what you did and after i went to check out all your links and omg i could go crazy shopping in just paint sooooo many i love there between micas and the glass glitters and the moulds and others i must of been on it for a hour or more i will be ordering soon from the links with a list lol ty for sharing links . and your artwork is top notch sweety great job and i like those chamelian pens to . what do you use for i never seen them ?? there interesting . so much to see in these links .

just wait till it's a little thicker to add the white so it won't drop. I have this same mold and I found they are a bit to thick so I never fill them up. I love them!!!

How , exactly, did you get the holographic effect ? Is it built into the mold ? How can I get that ? Loooove it

Thank you so much for your nice compliment Anna ❤ I appreciate it a lot. 😀 The holographic effect is already in the mold. When you pour in the mold the effect will be on 1 side of the coasters. So you don't have to do anything, just pour in the mold. ❣

It says your testing 4 different white pigment pastes. But #3 and #4 are both labeled the same. I'm so confused 🤔 💭 I like the back side of the coasters better. You don't see the white dots on the backside.
