@@phillipbates9587 yeah and? she walked in on jp kissing someone is nod to that when talking about history repeating it self so assume she referencing to catching craig and jp kissing in high school and first time seeing JP again she catches him kissing someone, hence the nod to the past with that line about history repeating itself, plus the fact Jp once again is having a secret relationship with someone who in the closet again.

He's not wrong because Carter is hurting himself and others by being in the closet. He wants what's best for everyone, and yes, there's the selfishness of wanting Carter to be out so that they can be together properly. But it's also not as straightforward as JP wants or hopes it to be because of what was done to Carter as a kid/teen by his dad. Unlearning an entire belief system doesn't happen by shagging someone like JP seems to think.

@@algiles881 The situation here isn't as simple as trying to get Carter to come out for JP's sake - its to do with the abuse that has brainwashed Carter and is causing him to try to brainwash others as well. JP does fall quite easily, but he's also been upfront with Carter and laid down the law in regards to the conversion therapy AND using Maxine (who will also get hurt in the end).
