Oooo! I love the teal earrings and black blouse and the purple in the couch bag is so pretty! As for the necklace with the monogram, I wouldn’t remove it. I’d either paint over it or even wear as is.

Hi, Pam. Re the vintage patterns - do you watch Stephanie Canada? If not, I recommend. Lots of tips on how to store / sell / list / what buyers look for. Plus, she is very entertaining 😊 As for the monogram... Two of the initials look like 'Fe' - which is the periodic table abbreviation for the element iron. The third initial (far left) looked like an 'I' (I could be wrong...). As iron is a metaphor / analogue for strength (body or mind), you could think of the whole as a representation of the statement 'I am doubly strong'. That way, it becomes a personal motto, or a coded message, rather than a monogram that doesn't belong to you ❤

I am a collector, but I love non jewelry items as well. The patterns, there is a lady that had a pattern KZread channel. I know she sells her patterns and does well. Crafters look for patterns for the covers of their junk journals as well (I have a lot of them in my stash Oh I have a 1950’s evening bag I picked up with mother of pearl accent…it’s beautiful…if your interested I’ll send you pictures

Can you get some kinda black paint and paint over the monogram? Or do some kinda paint effect .or get someone with a cricket machine to make something to fit over top of the monogrammed piece

My thoughts exactly. Maybe if there is a primer to cover well and then either embellish or use some kind of decoupage etc.

Its been so long since ive been thrifting or even to yard sales or anything. I need to get back to it, but i work so much 🙄 I just don't have time.
