The fact you mentioned Luna could solve any riddle is great, because to enter Ravenclaw's Common Room the students are given a riddle or question and they can pass if they got the right answer, this helps them boost their curiosity and keeps minds active. There's a reason one of the traits of a Ravenclaw is wit. And the duel between Molly and Bella and the thing that precedes that, you have no idea how much cooler it is in the books👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Alan Rickman was the only one who knew Snape's motivation from Rowling right from the start of filming even though only 4 books were written at the time and just 3 published. He promised to never reveal what he was told and he did not, not even when he sometimes refused the directors orders when they went against what he knew Snape would do and he kept the secret even after the filming was finished. What Alan Rickman did with the information he was given is simply brilliant. In retrospect there are so many subtle hints - expressions, gestures and nuances right from movie one that suggest there is more to Snape then meets the eye, something that simply could not be done in the books because it would give too much away as the books are from the perspective of the kids who are oblivious till his memories are revealed- so the hints are nearly non existent. Snape was bitter and vindictive, sometimes even cruel but he had every reason to be that way he was - his life was a nightmare from the very beginning, Lily being the only good thing that happened to him and the only person who really liked and cared for him. But at the same time he was fiercely loyal and deeply faithful and loving to the one person that was kind to him. The big question for me always was what if someone would have took notice of the troubled, abused and bullied child before he was lured by promises of power, protection and revenge. Snape is such an intriguing, complex character and thanks to the great Alan Rickman even so much more in film.

Fun background sort of information about Ron and Neville that isn't really explained in the books, but more in extended lore. Both of them started school with hand-me-down wands, specifically wands with unicorn hair which according to Olivander is the worst type of wand to hand down because the wands remain so loyal to their original owners. So basically both Ron and Neville start school with a hand tied behind their back magic-wise, and both suddenly start improving after getting new wands (Ron after book 2 and Neville after the battle in book 5).

I believe Snape was there in the forest when he cast the doe. He knew where they were because Hermione said that they were in the forest of Dean. In their bag with all their items, they had a portrait of Phineas Black they got from the Black house. Phineas is a former Hogwarts headmaster and Sirius’s relative. The portrait overheard Hermione and then Phineas could go to his portrait in the headmaster’s office and tell Snape and Dumbledore’s portrait.

Harry Potter didn't really hit Voldemort with any deadly spell to kill him. In the book Harry uses Expelliarmus but Voldemort used Avada Kedavra. Voldemort died because his killing curse backfired yet again like it did when Harry was a baby. 🪄💥🪄 BTW, in the Deathly Hallow book Harry never broke the Elder wand. He used it to fix his original broken wand and then put the Elder Wand back in Dumbledore's grave.

Harry’s survival when Voldemort cast the KiIIing Curse had nothing to do with the Resurrection Stone. The Stone doesn’t work like that as it can only bring someone back as basically a ghost. Harry survived because of two things. First Voldemort used Harry’s blood to rebuild his body in Goblet of Fire. As long as Voldemort’s body lived Harry was also connected to life. It’s explained better in the books. Secondly Harry was the true master of the Elder Wand at that point. He became its master when he disarmed Draco at Malfoy Manor. A wand will not harm its master so when Voldemort used a wand loyal to Harry to cast the KiIIing Curse at Harry the curse destroyed the part of Voldemort that was in Harry - not Harry himself. Also that was Ron’s first girlfriend, Lavender Brown, who was laying “unalive”, not Colin or Nigel. Fred was the twin that was kiIIed. James Potter’s Patronus was a stag, the same as his Animagus form. Harry is so much like his dad that they have the same Patronus. Lily Potter’s Patronus was a doe, which complimented her husband’s & son’s. It’s not known what Snape’s original Patronus was, though many think it was a bat, but when Lily died it changed form & became a doe like hers. To conjure a Patronus one has to think of their happiest memory & all of Snape’s happy memories are of Lily & the time they spent together as children.

Well, the movie really botches it, and JKR has oddly spoken against it (but then again, she doesn't understand how she write the time turners), but Harry was in possession of all three deathly hallows when Voldi tried to kill him, too. In the books, he enters the clearing under the cloak and holding the stone. And since he was the true owner of the wand, which was also in the clearing, this marks the first time since original Peverell events that all three of them come together and are owned but the same person. If anything we should assume that the legend of the hallows is a prophecy made about this moment and that the owner indeed does appear to have mastered death. (Becaue well, JKR did write a world in which all prophecies come true if interpreted correctly because it is effing underlying Novikov's self-consistency principle and you can not change the effing past). And then there is the bit about the sacrificial protection. Yes, Harry's protection should have ended when he stopped calling Petunia's home his own home. But he still calls Hogwarts his home. And so does Voldi. And he chose to have Harry's blood run through his veins... which is also Lilly's blood. So, the protection should have also still been in effect at some degree. But even if we assume it is not, we should note another thing the movie ditched: after Harry died and came back the book describes how Voldi's cursed do not hold over his victims. And that is because Harry died zo protect all of them... and so every one of them were protected as long as they called Hogwarts their home and as long as Voldi lived there... this is basically Dumbledore's version of salted earth if you ask me. He made sure that Voldi would never successfully rule with Hogwarts as his seat of power.

@@michaelklaus It's not enough that Voldemort called it home. Dumbledore's exact wording is: as long as you can call home the house where your mother's blood lives. So in order to have the same effect, Voldemort would have to live at Hogwarts. As for the whole Master of Death thing , that's one of the things that most people misunderstand. To quote Dumbledore: the true Master of Death doesn't seek to escape death. He understands that he must die and knows that there are far worse things in the living world than dying. End of quote. So being master of death has nothing to do with not dying and everything to do with accepting the inevitability of death.

@michaelklaus. One correction. Harry was not holding the Stone when he entered the clearing. In both the book & the movie he dropped it in the forest. He did not have it on him when he faced Voldemort in the forest clearing. Chapter 34: The Forest Again. The Resurrection Stone slipped from between his numb fingers, and out of the corner of his eyes he saw his parents, Sirius & Lupin vanish as he stepped forward into the firelight. At that moment he felt that nobody mattered but Voldemort. It was just the two of them. And in chapter 35 King’s Cross, Harry & Dumbledore talking & Harry asks “-how can I be alive?” “I think you know,” said Dumbledore. “Think back. Remember what he did, in his ignorance, in his greed and his cruelty.” “He took my blood,” said Harry. “Precisely!” said Dumbledore. “He took your blood and rebuilt his living body with it! Your blood in his veins, Harry, Lily’s protection inside both of you! He tethered you to life while he lives!” So Harry’s survival had nothing to do with possessing all 3 Deathly Hallows or Harry being the Master of Death.

Also, the reason Griphook wanted the sword is because the sword was made by goblins. Goblins believe that anything made by them belongs to them, so everything they made that wizards have (like the sword) is technically a loan. So he wants it back because he believes it rightfully belongs to the goblin community.

Harry became a horcrux because Voldemort's soul was so mangled by that point due to the other horcruxes, it was unstable. Also, Harry was able to come back not because he had the resurrection stone (which brings back ghost-like apparitions of dead ones) but because Voldemort used Harry's blood in his resurrection potion, thus taking upon himself the protection Lily gave Harry, thus becoming essentially a good version of a horcrux for Harry.

Rowling wrote 100+ Characters, some after real life people she knew, BUT she only wrote 3 characters with actors in mind... McGonnagall = Maggie Smith, Hagrid = Robbie Coltrane and Snape = Alan Rickman ...that all of these three would agree to the role was pure luck or destiny (to that point, to the people who say Rickman was to old, yes Snape was 31 and Rickman 56 in the first movie, however when Rowling made her first notes in the early 80s, Rickman was mid 30s, so the age fits (kind of)

Voldemort's Horcruxes; Tom Riddle's Diary The Gaunt/Slytherin Ring The Slytherin Locket The Goblet of Hufflepuff The Ravenclaw Diadem Nagini Harry Potter. The reason Harry, Ron and Hermione thought that Nagini was the last Horcrux was because they thought the last piece of the Voldemort's soul was inside of Voldemort. But instead of splitting his soul into 7 pieces he accidentally split it into 8 with the 8th piece inside of Voldemort. The Resurrection Stone was on the Gaunt/Slytherin Ring all along. That is why Dumbledore got sick. He got impatient and tried to use it before he even destroyed the horcrux. The Resurrection Stone does Not bring people back to life. It only brings their ghost to you. That is why one of the brothers in the Deathly Hallow story killed himself. He couldn't be truly with the departed loved one that he wanted to see again. Harry would never have come back to life because of the stone. If someone else had used it and Harry had stayed dead then Harry would only come back as a ghost. Harry came back was due to the protection spell that his mother placed on him when she sacrificed her life for him the day Voldemort tried to kill him when he was a baby. 📖💍📿🏆👑🐍🧑

Two things... the correct order of the Horcruxes. The ring comes first. Tom already has the ring, when he asked Slughorn about the number 7. He got the ring when he asked Morfin about the locket and made it a Horcrux, by killed his father. Because they only met once, this has to be the first. Diary, Slytherin Locket, Goblet of Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw Diadem are next. Harry Potter and nagini is last and made after the Diary got destroyed. Second, one more thing about the ring. Its even darker, the ring tries to kill you. You hear it the way the "ghosts" talk, "Nearly there", "brave", "quicker then falling asleep" it tries to make you feel relaxed and lure you into "greating death, like an old friend".

That night, Voldemort lost his first life and therefore his first Horcrux. In The Philosopher`s Stone, Voldemort approaches Harry with anger and an air of accusation when he says: "See what I`ve become? I must live of another!" He blames Harry for the state he is in. Technically, it was a "friendly fire" situation. Voldemort killed himself. But which Horcrux was it that prevented him from dying that night?

  • @elize3137
    @elize31376 күн бұрын

Yes, Snape was in the forest when he casted Patronus but he of course hid himself so Harry wouldn't see him and then Disapparated. He put the sword in the lake and the Patronus only served to get Harry's attention, even though Harry didn't figure out whose Patronus was that. And the reason the sword was underwater is because you can only get it by showing bravery and courage (Harry jumping into freezing water to get it). Snape is more complex in the books, he's not as likeable which makes him even more interesting. I know him being likeable in the movies is partly because of Alan Rickman, but they did water down his character a lot in my opinion. He never really cared about Harry, he was loyal to Dumbledore and did what he promised. His surprised remark about Harry having to die is not out of worry, he was just shocked by Dumbledore's plans, and Dumbledore saying "don't tell me you grew to care for the boy" is Dumbledore being surprised that Snape cared (because Dumbledore knew Snape resented Harry), not that Dumbledore himself didn't care, a lot of reactors misunderstand that part and I can see why.

The fact that Voldemort took lily’s blood (Harry’s blood) to resurrect his body in Goblet of fire movie made Voldemort an anchor for Harry (lily’s protection for Harry now lives on in Voldemort ). So when Voldy does AK in the forest , Harry is pushed into a limbo where he can choose to die or choose to come back to life . All because Voldemort is keeping Harry anchored to earth as much as Harry was keeping Voldemort anchored to earth (by being a horcrux )

In both versions, Harry sought to end the temptation that the Elder Wand represents, but I think that was achieved better by breaking it, rather than hiding it in the place where it was already found once, and then hoping that he never gets defeated.

Yes, we absolutely want to follow along as you read the books and see your thoughts and reactions. You have it right about Voldemort. Some people misinterpreted a Rowling quote to mean that he couldn't feel love and was doomed to be a terrible person because he was concieved under a love potion, but she clarified that no, had he had a mother who raised him things could've been different. But it's our choices that make us who we are, as said a couple times throughout the movies/books. Interesting that Harry and Voldy were in the same circumstance without parents but made different choices. As other commenters have said, Snape is so much more likeable in the movies. He never cared about Harry, only Lily, and getting revenge on Voldy because he killed her. I want to tell you all of it but I'll save it for you to read the books!

Oh, man.... seeing Fred lying on the floor in the Great Hall dead is heartbreaking, especially seeing Ron break down in tears. (Hearing that Harry had to sacrifice himself to give them a chance of defeating Voldemort and the Death Eaters didn't help that grief.) Also, I was at the midnight premiere of The Deathly Hallows Part 2 in 3D. The scene where Mrs. Weasley took out Bellatrix got a massive cheer from the audience. 7 points I've made or seen in the past regarding Harry Potter: 1. The prophecy Professor Dumbledore mentioned in Professor Snape's memory that mentioned a baby born at the end of July was partially true. There were actually two: Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom. They were born in the same month and year, but Neville is only 1 day older than Harry. (Neville: 30 July 1980, Harry: 31 July 1980.) Voldemort had chosen to target a then 15-month-old Harry, thus marking him as his equal. Neville lived a life free of that fear with his grandmother, despite the constant painful reminder of his parents being permanently admitted to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries after being tortured into insanity by Bellatrix Lestrange. 2. In the scene where Professor McGonagall steps in to protect Harry from Professor Snape....if you notice, he never raises his wand to actually attack her. He actually deflects the spells hurled at him at the two Death Eaters behind him, the Carrows....the very same pair that Neville said were forcing the students to practice the Cruciatus Curse on first years. 3. Voldemort's death after his battle with Harry wasn't supposed to look like he got snapped out by Thanos, and it wasn't just them isolated in the courtyard. In the book, Harry and Voldemort battle for the last time in front of everyone else, resulting in Voldemort dying as a mortal man once Neville sliced off Nagini's head, effectively saving Ron & Hermione in the process. 4. Harry didn't snap the Elder Wand in the book version. He mends his original wand (the one he got in Philosopher's Stone from Ollivander's) with it, then returns it to Professor Dumbledore's grave. 5. I give HUGE props to Narcissa for straight-up lying to Voldemort after Harry confirmed that Draco was alive. It shows that neither she nor her son wanted the Death Eater life. 6. That one goblin who stared in shock as the Ukrainian Ironbelly burst through the floor of Gringotts seriously looked a bit like Donald Trump. 7. Before the war, during an Order Of The Phoenix meeting at Grimmauld Place after their son Teddy was born, Harry was asked by Tonks and Remus to be the godfather.

Dumbledore also inadvertently put plans in motion that led to Harry getting the Elder Wand, making Harry the one true Master of Death (for a few minutes in the Forest before he sacrificed himself).

The son of Tonks and Lupin, Edward 'Teddy' Lupin is around 19 in the epilogue, and is dating Victoire Weasley, the daughter of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour! Victoire also has siblings - Dominique and Louis. Both Victoire and Teddy have fathers who were attacked by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback (but neither child inherited any lyncanthropy), and both Victoire and Teddy Lupin have mothers with unique traits related to their physical appearances. Fleur Delacour has Veela blood, and Victoire is 1/8th Veela. The Veela don't really get covered at all in the movies but Veela are semi-human magical beings that are beautiful women with white-gold hair and skin that appears to shine moon-bright, and they are also the mascots for the Bulgarian Quidditch team which is where we first learn about them in the books. Their looks and especially their dance are hypnotically seductive to almost all people attracted to women, which causes many people to act strangely and have impulsive actions to get closer to them, which might explain a little bit of Ron's stupidity around Fleur in Goblet of Fire ahaha. Nymphadora Tonks was a Metamorphmagus, as seen in a few scenes with the hair changing colour and the pig nose, and Teddy is also a Metamorphmagus! I always thought these were interesting links between Teddy and Victoire.

about Snape, there are hints in movie 6, like when Harry overhears Snape telling Dumbledore that maybe he asks for too much and he doesn't want to do it anymore (in hindsight it was about Snape killing Dumbledore) and the fact that Dumbledore trusts Snape and asks specifically for him and that Snape made sure no one harmed Harry when Harry was chasing them and even in this movie, when he is dueling McGonagall, he's deflecting her attacks backwards to the Carrow siblings. Some first watchers figure these things out but not many do tbh. but in the end, it only adds to the rewatchability I think

So you can see he's built up other relations but he has to betray his feelings in order to complete the mission set forth by Dumbledore... I'm not sure if anyone has answered the Horcrux question, but there is a specific timeline for when and how Voldemort created them. If you remember in Half-Blood Prince, Professor Slughorn tells a young Tom Riddle in the memory that Harry collected that the ritual to create a Horcrux involves killing someone. Tom wanted to split his soul into 7 pieces (a magically powerful number) with 6 housed in objects and one in his own body. Without giving too many spoilers on who was murdered to create each of them, here's a rundown of the order of their creation plus a few important bits about Voldemort. December 31st, 1926 = Tom Riddle is born. July 1942 = First Murder; August 1942 = Ring Horcrux created. June 1943 = Second Murder; September 1943 = Diary Horcrux created. 1945 = Tom Riddle Graduates Hogwarts. 1956 = Third Murder and Helga Hufflepuff's Cup Horcrux created. 1957 = Fourth Murder and Salazar Slytherin's Locket Horcrux created. 1967 = Fifth Murder and Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem Horcrux created. October 31st, 1981 = Sixth Murder (Lily Potter). The theory is that Voldemort was going to use something from Godric Gryffindor to contain this Horcrux, but the splitting of his soul so many times had weakened him. The killing curse rebounded, causing him to lose his body and his soul fragment to latch onto Harry instead. He essentially never finished to ritual to bind the piece of his soul into the actual item and did not know that it had gone into Harry. August 1994 = Seventh Murder and Nagini Horcrux created.

After the spider scene during the battle, it’s Lavender, Ron’s ex girlfriend who’s dead on the ground. And the movies make Snape more sympathetic that in the books. Yes he did the same actions to save Harry but he was so unhinged and full of hate toward Harry and pretty much anyone. Doesn’t negate the fact that he did a fantastic job as a double agent and his secret mission certainly played a big part but he is certainly more of a nuanced character in the book that the “Snape secretly was good this entire time” of the movies. To make it short, he WAS a death eater and the only reason he stopped was because Voldemort went after Lily… at first he asked Dumbledore to save ONLY Lily but then threw the “hide them all” just to save her. He could not care less about Harry. Despite Alan Rickman’s fantastic portrayal of him, I wish they gave him more of this balanced take on him. Rickman’s would have crushed it! Movie Snape is a bit tame, a shame. Dumbledore’s backstory is lacking in this. As a young teen/man, he was indeed looking for powers and even had plans to “take over muggles” for their own good “greater good” with his friend Grindewald. You will get a bit more by reading, same for Voldemort’s background/family.

I can’t wait for you to get into the books! There are a decent amounts of changes within this movie. I won’t spoil any for you, but I’ll just say some I really like, and some things I preferred in the book, so I’m looking forward to seeing what you think! Snapped memories will never fail to get me emotional 😭 Also, when Dumbledore said to Snape “don’t tell me now that you’ve grown to care for the boy”, that wasn’t insinuating that Dumbledore didn’t care. It’s that Snape never liked Harry (mostly because he reminded Snape of James), and it was surprising to Dumbledore. Snape really only cared for Lily, so he cared for Harry only by extension. (You’ll see more proof in the books). Dumbledore cared deeply for Harry but he had to keep certain things a secret, or he feared what was needed wouldn’t have happened. He actually knew certain things (that he kept from Harry) all the way from when Harry was first at Hogwarts. Also, “any living thing it could find” was in the area. Voldy chose to put his soul in inanimate objects but he didn’t choose Harry. I just think that in accident the soul would naturally go to the living thing…. Idk if you’ve gotten the explanation but Voldemort was literally incapable of love, and that was due to something elaborated in the HBP book. On your future Harry Potter journey with sorting hats and the like, I recommend highly the deleted scenes - especially for the last two movies. They add some extra depth to certain characters that I think would have been a good addition. Thanks for the reaction it was great! Can’t wait for ROTK!

About the half-blood Prince: The thing is that Harry thought that the HB Prince was his father James and he came to really admire the HB Prince, almost being obsessed by him. And then he found out that it was Snape and that he was actually admiring the person he hates probably the most, the person that has just killed Dumbledore. That is something that should have been shown in the movie, because without it, it doesn't really matters who the HB Prince is and if it's good or bad or whatever. The HB Prince mystery is not really important for Snape's story, but for Harry's.

The Resurrection Stone doesn't actually bring people back from the dead. That's impossible for any magic to do. The Resurrection Stone only recalls the spirits of the dead to our world, but they have no physical body and can't feel anything. The Resurrection Stone wouldn't have been able to bring back Harry even if he held onto it. Harry survived essentially because the Killing Curse destroyed the part of Voldemort's soul that was inside him first.

Bro, the stone doesn't bring anyone back. They explained this in Part 1 when Hermione is talking about the Hallows. Harry used it to see his parents because Dumbledore knew he would need this to move forward. This is why it was written, "I open at the close." After Harry said, "I'm ready to die," the Snitch opened because this was the end for him. The reason Harry didn't die is that, in the Goblet of Fire, Voldemort used Harry's blood to rebuild his body. In Voldemort's blood is Lily's sacrifice, so Voldemort made Harry stay alive. He tied Harry to the earth. By using Harry's blood to come back to life, Voldemort placed Lily's protection into his own blood, which tethered Harry to the earth. This was the only reason Harry didn't die from the Avada Kedavra again. In Dumbledore's initial plan, Harry had to die. But when Harry told Dumbledore that Voldemort used his blood to come back, Dumbledore knew Harry wouldn't die. That's why he planned everything so it would happen this way, sacrificing himself. He cared too much about Harry and didn't want to cause him more pain. Yes, Dumbledore loved Harry like a son. Additionally, after Harry said the words, "I'm ready to die," the Golden Snitch opened. This is why the message "I open at the close" appeared before. At that moment, Harry had already deciphered Dumbledore's code and knew what the Snitch was for. But remember, the Resurrection Stone doesn't bring anyone back. AMAZING REACTIONS BY THE WAY! I watch the whole series with you again, read the books, i know you will love it, everything will be more clear.

You are super perceptive! That was indeed the Room of Requirement that Neville brought Harry to - in the books, it became a kind of refuge for Dumbledore's Army and other students on Harry's side. If I remember right, in the books, the Room of Requirement can be made very specifically - ex, 'I want a place to hide where the death eaters can't find me', and over the course of time, it would grow new features like the addition of changing rooms (can't remember exactly) when girls started showing up to the RoR, and because it can't actually 'create' food, it made the tunnel to the Hog's Head so that Aberforth could send the kids food. I don't think I've ever seen a reactor recognize the place as the RoR. The resurrection stone doesn't bring you back to life - as Dumbledore said before 'I trust you know, that no spell can reawaken the dead, Harry'. The reason he was able to come back is that Dumbledore had basically maneuvered it that way. Protecting Harry through his mother's blood in his Aunt Petunia - Voldemort using Harry's blood to rebuild him a body linking him even more to Harry and making sure that his wand doesn't fall into the wrong hands and in the end because Harry was the true master of the Elder Wand, it wouldn't kill it's true master so the wand killed the part of Voldemort within him.

i think it makes sense for the soul to latch onto a living thing because that's naturally where souls reside. horcruxes are extremely unnatural and very difficult to make. i'd expect that piece of soul to attach itself to an living, breathing being with energy and a soul rather than a desk lamp or something

Had to snatch up a snack real quick when I saw you had uploaded part II. That hour flew by quickly but another enjoyable reaction indeed. With the resurrection stone, it brought back the spirits of Harry's loved ones, who helped give him courage and strength before he went to face his death, and as we know from the Tale of the Three Brothers in Part I, using the stone to bring someone back from the dead doesn't work out well. Looking forward to your Fantastic Beasts reactions, so no poll needed. I'm sure we'll all be back to watch haha. Have you been sorted into your house and been given your wand and patronus on the Wizarding World site yet? Such a good time for Potterheads. We have the HBO Max TV series coming up, Hogwarts Legacy 2 in the making, the original artwork for the HPATPS book sold for 1.6 million a few days ago, a new Ministry of Magic theme park is opening at Universal in Orlando. The Wizarding World still lives on strong over 2 decades later. Always 🧙🏽‍♂️⚡🐍

Snape really was part of the original death eaters by choice. He was close to Voldemort. Gandalf made him become a double agent in exchange for protecting Lily.

I told you there was a portrait of Phineas Nigelleus Black in Hermione's bag. He was a previous Headmaster. He heard Hermione say they were in the forest. So he told Snapey Poo. He went to the forest with the sword and cast the Doe patronus.

14:00 Notice how Snape never attacks McGonagall. He deflects her curses to hit the true threats - the two Death Eaters behind him. Particularly twisted individuals, if you read the books - and also the ones who wanted the students to practice Cruciatus on first years. At 14:06 he bounces between the two Death Eaters, fairly sure he takes their wands away? Then he leaves

I believe Harry become a Horcrux because Voldy was prepared to create a Horcrux that night with Harry's death but failed to complete the spell and put the part of his soul in what he intended to make the actual horcrux so that part of his soul latched onto Harry instead by mistake..

In the books Voldemort tortures harry's body after using the killing curse not knowing that he's alive the whole time, it's an insane read.

Voldemorts soul was so damaged by the time he killed harry from all the other horcruxes he had made that when the killing curse rebounded upon him a piece of his soul split off from the whole. (This is implied to be the pain Voldemort felt that night as everyone else says the killing curse is quick and painless.) that piece of soul needed a “container”. As dumbledore says there was only one living thing it could find.

That was Lavender Brown (she was gaga over Ron in the 6th movie) you saw dead at about the 23 minute mark. She didn’t die in the book.

Hi, I just wanted to say you are great reactor, the way you notice little things amazes me, like I don't remember anyone ever noticing initials on Harry's kids' suitcases and on top of that realizing he named one of them James after his father... incredible mind of yours😲😲 Btw (a little TMI), I think you are probably on the best way to experience HP world in my opinion. I also started with movies and then got to the books and those made me a huge fan. This way you remember movies and when you read you get excited with every new information and you also instantly know how differently they portrayed the story in movies. On the other hand, those who began with books and then moved to movies... well, lets say most of them just don't like HP movies even though they are good which is kinda sad but I can't blame them 😅 I just want to answear your question about Dumbledore... 'Yes you will get more information about him in books.' 'Yes, you will get more information about Snape's story.' 'Yes you will get more information about everything... even about things you didn't ask about but you will still be glad to know them.' If you felt magical while watching the movies, you will feel like student of Hogwarts while reading the books, trust me ❤😊

In the bank vault scene in the book not only did things multiply but they were also burning HOT If you rewatch the scene where shes fighting snape 15:35 you will see him take out the Death Eaters before flying away 16:53 i know it sounds wild BUT the dungeons are the Slitheryn common area lol theres also a fun theory out there that the chocolate frog at the end is the same one that Harry opened his first day
