@hashali When you say 'my ego' , 'my thoughts' who is this me ? just stay silent . ego gets silenced in a variety of ways in life, sometimes when it achieves something it has been longing for after a lot of efffort , and some-times losing all that it had achieved after a lot of effort. In both cases, the "need" to put effort seems to have gone away ( in some cases for just a moment) . At this moment there is no thought, there is only 'I' , this is what is silence.

Hashem Ali in your mind there is 2 entities : the one who say I or me which is the ego (the educated entity of this world , very limited and ignorant of realities ) and another entity very profound in you who know everything and can do anything and it can respond to you and it is the presence of God within you .these 2 entities live inside you .by the way the second gives you life and all possibilities...Now what do you think you should do ? do you want these 2 beings disagree together ?? and fight ? and what then will happen with your life ? or do you want them to live peacefully together ? they don't have the same aspirations and goals in life . the ego want to satisfy his desires and make a lot of mistakes that bring him sufferings and frustrations but the God within have high standards of perfection and morality he want to bring knowledge about everything he is the source and the creator of your whole world ! he gives endless gifts peace love harmony health powers prosperity love success and what we want ..he wants to help the ego out of his mess . now whom are you going to follow if you want the best of this life and future lives ?you must make a choice .they must live in good cooperation talk together but the ignorant must talk exchange with the wise and your conduct must understand and know the wise being whose main purpose is to enlighten you and give you joy and lasting happiness universal intelligence peace power and everything you cannot even imagine .ultimately the ego should listen the little voice that speaks to you inside your mind (your head) and talk with it and listen. specially recognise that it is the God 's presence inside your mind .when it will tell you what to do you will feel if it is coming from your deep self or the superficial self (the ego) the deep self is very convincing and you will know his answer is quite obvious usually it is just a few words and no bla bla from the ego .the ego speaks a lot because it is full of doubts and uncertitudes and he talk and talk in order to reassure himself. but he does not have much knowledge.

Find out who and what you are first, then when you acquire this kind of wealth you'll know it to be secondary wealth. The wealth you find through your true nature should be established primarily, then you'll know that what this chap is talking about doesn't 'matter'.

Which God do you refer to? Listen very carefully to the thousands of hours free on youtube, you don't need to go to a retreat to feel what you're searching for. You only need to drop your arrogance (I used to THINK what you're saying, too) and to feel your Self, your Presence. Listen to a live broadcast from Mooji, follow his guide, and you'll fine what you call God, not outside, but inside, always waiting for you. Be grateful for the abundance of free master's videos at our disposal and let go you expectations or your ideas about what should be or not: it's only that, listening to your thougts and feelings, that stops you from the Truth you are right now.

I'm referring to Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Wow this was 3 years ago when I posted this crazy. Don't get me wrong this is not anti tithing. God is everywhere inside and outside, hes omniscient. But we all have a loving father that sent his son to die for our sins, to give us eternal life.

Your desire for Truth must be pure. Jesus has shown us the way: "Not me but thou, o Lord".

I heard, ANIMALS do feel very safe around him, because he DOES NOT eat them. Instead he treats them with COMPASSION and care. He gives them the proper ATTENTION he preaches about. In other words, he PRACTICES what he PREACHES... It would be grotesque if spirituality were only a self serving hobby, an escape from real change. So, what else would spirituality be, but the awakening of Universal Love and Compassion?
