I find it helpful to go back in memory as a small child. The way life felt. We live in the moment then before identity and ego develop. I have a strong memory of jumping over a puddle. I was the totality. It reminds me of the verse that says we must become like little children to enter the kingdom of heaven, that is within. Total trust, total unity, peace and love. Our minds fall in love with a concept of ourselves and we forget. It’s actually beautiful and precious, even though gut wrenching to the sense of self!

What a journey we are all going through.

You can cut free of them. Simply see if there are at least short moments when you feel peacefull and happy through the day, without being miserable. If you can find them they will show you that you are at that time without any attachment, God bless You :)

The carver's reply is exactly what Michelangelo said when asked about his (18 foot tall marble) David -that he had just removed every part of that huge block that wasn't David. It's so strange how the world always seems to test your earnestness in your Self search. Consciousness seems to be "set up", for lack of a better term, to always test where your attention rests. Are you placing importance on your thoughts or on Self awareness? Projections (deception) or truth? Mind or heart? If you don't notice the tests within yourself, they will happen "out there" in the world of projections. If you're focused on the awareness you'll notice them, if not you won't.

To use an example from my life, relating to my "spiritual journey," I struggled for a long time to transcend my attachments to how others perceived me, particularly those of the opposite sex whom I felt attraction towards. It seemed as though women became much more attracted to me the more I tried to focus inward and not so much on my outward appearance (eg looks, personality, etc). They would approach me constantly, despite my never showing them the slightest bit of interest...

when u let go of everything u have to let go even the expecting something to hapen cause u let go, and let everything be, cuse if u evpect something to happen who is expecting? ... and if a realisation comes for a second mind will start interpreting it and colour it.

even if that is the case, why would human psychology evolve in such a way? Maybe they "sensed" my evolving towards truth, towards wholeness, completeness and were attracted to that. Perhaps the outward manifestations of those qualities were ones of innocence, sincerity, genuineness, etc, all things that separated me from most other men who tend to have hidden agendas? I don't know. Whatever the reasons may be, it effectively becomes one of the transcendental tests of Self discovery.

Attachment is not love I just lost my pet Working with this now I'm in one of the most painful moments looking at who is suffering Why love anyone or thing in form? Form is transient. Loss is painful. But I am here now in form. If pain is inevitable in love, why love? I love. I can not stop it. This spaciousness I am where it all just happens, i get there then anger comes, I witness it. Something wants to reject pain therefore love. Why play this game? It Seems cruel.

How can you say what you are not? How do you know what you are?

I wonder how long it's possible to taste consciousness, or are we to be satisfied with being the watcher? How can l bring the watcher and consciousness together, but they are one already. I'm confused and thinking too hard, using the mind. So is my greatest understanding and intelligence my consciousness? It must be because mind is chaos. No sense is coming from there!!! ☺️❤️🌺🌿⭐✨❤️

Often times they were very beautiful, women who previously always seemed to ignore me. Why were they so interested in me all of a sudden, now that I seemed not to care, now that I was more focused on Self-realization than self-indulgence (pleasure)? It seemed to me from my perspective that I should appear to them more "cold", impersonal, and indifferent, yet they treated me as if I was bathing them with affection. Why? I can only guess. Maybe it was all the result of pure psychology...

Yet another "test" seems to be these very posts that I type here today. My cursor seems to jump all around, almost randomly as I type. I don't know why, but that doesn't matter. All that matters from my perspective is that my focus remains on what I feel compelled to do and, at this moment, that is to share my conscious experience with consciousness (ie "you"). Why? Again, I don't know, but it feels right, so I do it.

How long were you into your spiritual journey when the attention of the opposite sex started to happen?
