Mooji: Contemplate These Things

"Take your stand in the truth! ... When you begin to take your attention away from the objects that are appearing and disappearing, and put it towards the subject (the perceiver of them), then you cannot miss that you are home." (Mooji) www.mooji.org

    Now I have reached the end of my spiritual growth journey, I just want to cry every single day and every moment and every techniques that I struggeld with and every book, it really wortht it, Iam and Iam always but i was giving mind energy through some ineer roots it was in front of me all the times but some how you cant see it 😍 Some Notice : 1_ You are not there completly if you keep saying inside your head I did it or Now I understand or finally i fid.. simply you will reach a point where you will say to your self enough I dont wanna this anymore and you will not be inside your mind again you will divorce it the last thing now I want is something other than being my self witch i am effortless silence space.. 🌿 2_You will look at the mind as one mass. that search for happiness, out of space, for peace, so that you will realize that you are all these things, because when you have space, you will feel that you do not need any of these things. You are you a space !! thanks 😭😭😭😭😭💔💔

    Something i've often wondered is - Does the awareness\seer have it's own intelligence to work out that what it is seeing is just imagined or does it need a mind to be able to work that out? In other words, is it just like a newborn child that just takes in everything without question until it mind is developed enough to start questioning?

    Can the knower of knowledge be known ? Because all this (this reality) is a manifestation of consciousness then the knowledge from that reality cannot be unknown to the source of the manifestation, which if is the knower, which is the consciousness, which is you. Compare this to a dream. Can any part of the dream not be known by the dreamer ?

Observe these things(what things?) but if you are an observer who identifies with them then you are beyond the observing.....? Really confused here....

    Same here i am a little on the confused side too, i have watched this video several times but i just cannot seem to grasp the question. I think maybe the question is more intiutive than intellectual. Everytime i have attempted it seems like there is nothing there but just emptiness. I too wish someone would just elaborate a little on this.

    69MrBunny Piche Traful i have not this video but through reading comments i can guess what he is talking about. the excercise will take you to a space where your true self is revealed to you, that which cannot be named, needs no awakening, and is truly no 'thing'. Gangaji is another teacher who is good at taking you to this place, and she has youtube videos as well. her teacher is a man named papaji and i have read his book called 'the fire for freedom vol 1' and i think his prose is easier to understand than hers but hers may be more powerful in a different way, if you are in a more meditative place perhaps . . . anyway, papaji's teacher was sri ramana maharishi and i believe they show a true path toward enlightenment. now that i have 'found' this 'way' i end up seeing it so many other places. i hope this has been helpful for you both. but the 'nothing there but just emptiness' is a step in the right direction. you must dive further though . . . the meditation is on the question 'who am i?' and no answer that can be put into words is a true answer for these but labels you associate with your identity. you are no 'thing'.

    ***** it is hard for me to formulate a reply to you that i can see benefitting you, but i will try to maybe explain the concept more fully so that you understand it. i do not however see how it would benefit anyone for me to respond to your message directly on a point by point basis. (i have now watched the video and it is pretty much exactly the concept i thought and he actually gets it across well in my opinion but i have read several books and know what he is trying to get across) satsang means something like 'communion with truth' and that is what is gathering is called. it is meant for those who seek ultimate truth or 'enlightenment'. in my opinion, some of these concepts would be difficult for anyone to understand who does not earnestly want to understand the world they live in or live the best way. mooji is using many different ways to say the same thing, which cannot actually be conveyed accurately with our words . . . but he is trying to help you break away from the idea that you need to add anything to your consciousness to find peace. it is difficult for many of us to maintain the perspective of the 'observer', we constantly get sucked back into the stories of our lives and the energies that have persisted through this life our and lifetimes before. for Piche Traful and 69MrBunny the question he is trying to answer is only a tool to help you when you get caught back in the story and out of unbiased awareness (assuming you understand and are pursuing this goal) and the question is 'who observes these things?' these things being phenomena rising around you . . . remembering who and what you really are in every moment. this video is for seekers of all levels and it is a wonderful light on the path.

    ***** according to you what is he trying to say? I do agree with you about knowing that everything is nothing and that everything is a creation of the mind. However, the body, which is the place where the mind resides does need to be nurtured. We cannot just go through life expecting nothing, wanting nothing we need to live.

  • @carmenantonetty7191

    @carmenantonetty7191

    he is not barking. he is talking about a common thing. just because you have never heard of it before or don't understand (nor have probably tried anyone) it does not mean that is garbage. it is actually a concept that has helped me in my life in profound ways. Piche Traful yes, it is great to nurture the body, as well as to nurture the mind but the truth of who and what you are is neither of these things, itt is before these things. it is was mind and body rise in and fall away again from. these videos are cool and to me he does a great job, but again i am familiar with the information and the process he is conveying. i believe the papaji book i mentioned earlier will be the best resource for you because it is real conversation he had that was recorded and then later put into text. people as great questions and he has such a wonderfully conversation tone that you cant help but to pick it up. now this part is for both of you, just my own interjection to see if it makes a difference. ***** i have a hard time relating to your opinion that something that 'doesn't give you anything' is worthless. i don't think you are fully understanding the concept, or trying to. but maybe you are and just have a more cynical perspective about this reality that i: which is perfectly acceptable. to me, this reality is something like a playground for 'souls' to come and grow through learning about themselves by jumping into many different incarnations. the way that papaji describes it is that 'in one lucky lifetime the desire for true freedom arises'. the truth is that you are always free, you must only realize it. it isn't necessarily that you 'gain nothing' it is that you realize that everything you have been attempting to get through different sensations and experiences has always been there for you. once you are able to go further within yourself and see that 'you' (awareness, not the collection of labels we call an identity) are actually the void that all things come from and disappear into then you can begin to incorporate your truer perspective into your life. mooji illustrates a technique that you may use to bring you back into awareness of your more true, more infinite perspective when you are getting caught up in the story of this life and are suffering for it, which is to ask the question 'who sees these things' where 'these things' is whatever you are experiencing. from there you can realize that you are not only this simple life but are something like a piece of a much fuller being. a piece connected to and producing all the others. in other places i have found this called the tiny space in the heart but i have not heard those who teach this particular thing call it that. in summation, i believe that this is the ultimate teaching with true enlightenment at its core. i do not mean to 'know' intelligently will bring enlightenment, but to 'understand' inherently and in every moment would be that enlightenment. i find that the more i focus on maintaining this broader perspective of my existence, my narrower perspective improves. once the Buddha was asked what he gained from enlightenment and his reply was nothing. it flabergasted the inquirer, but eventually the Buddha told him that he did not ask the right question. that he had gained nothing, but he had lost something like anger fear and suffering. in my life, this has allowed me to feel more in control but that the same time accept what comes and goes. the further i delve, the deeper it seems to go. eventually i anticipate a jump into a full understanding as opposed to making small steps. +pichu traful, in order to go all the way with this thing, i really believe you must have the desire for 'freedom' as papaji calls it but there are many other ways to put it. the main thing is to be serious about your spiritual life, not pursuing anything but your completeness, settling for nothing short.

    Does anyone else get alarm bells when he says that you are not the true witness if you have interest in what you're aobserving? I understand that we should not be attatched to people and ideas to the point of falling apart without them. But the girl I love, I see her, and I am interested. I think of God as a personal being, and Jesus, and I am filled with peaceful interest, call it affinity, call it purpose. This is not something I should move away from. I am not looking for nirvana. I am looking for the fullness of love when I empty myself of obsessions, fears, scenarios.

    just let it happen then....... no mind helps love! :) the mind covers up love. if you're analyzing this with your mind and it's making you think that you shouldn't love someone.. that's not what mooji's saying, that's your mind

    Arent you in the PERECT place Mooji is pointing to?? A silent Mind ENJOYS ITSELF,and every thing it percieves...sees,gives attention to.In Silence ALONE you can see your Self since from Silence we came and to Silence we wil return.Ever seen a dead man talking??Or a babe in the womb ,chattig with you??Or do you routinely speak when you sleep well??And wake up refreshed because you have ''slept''...beeen silent well?
