Didn't cheese the cw, this somehow caused Ethiopia to hold out until 1939, then lost but the Allies got called in immeditately and eliminated Italy, I then joined the Triple Entente as Poland was falling which lead into a good back and forth until Germany fell in 40/41. More than normal this guide has a few unused ideas, which are not limited to. Doing it as the White Exiles: Bukharin with a cheesed CW run and using Lend-Lease to make the lost equipment. Keeping Stalin: With this achievement you really can do it anyway you like, which is rare for a hoi4 achievement. We need more like it.

Another way to do it is to go Little Entente France and get all you can, including the Allies, into your faction. Basic defensive infantry to hold Italy off and some sweet 40-44w inf with 4 artillery to punch into Germany. You go to war instead of Munich conference and just push into germany before they can man the West Wall. Once you're on the Rhine River it's basically GG and you can be done in a year. I managed it without even having enough guns for my big inf units pushing into germany. The combination of Czechs, Poland, Yugoslavia and Romania in the east basically screws over the Axis that early in the game. This also lets you get Big Entente achievement if the peace deal goes nicely and a certain UK doesn't go liberating nations in Germany

It's pretty easy to just do it as Little Entente France and go in on Germany over the Sudetenland. A new player could get like 5 achievements in one run this way.

With the little entente there’s a chance Germany will have a civil war, making the states much harder to get

I did this with the constitutional monarchic Italy. They have some good bonuses. I was mainly just attempting to do the guarantee Austria path (also has some good bonuses)

6:45 Could you elaborate on what you mean by this and how you came to this conclusion? If I'm understanding it correctly, you've confused the gameplay result ("success" or "failure" in the coup, which is not rigorously defined in a way the game understands) with the random seed result (which is set at game start, and persists across reloads, but is just a number). Infiltrating the NKVD doesn't change the random seed but it does change the *interpretation* of the random seed. The result of the coup in a gameplay sense isn't hardcoded, the game has no comprehension of success or failure in the coup. It merely picks one of two possible outcomes with 50-50 weighting (based on the random seed). If the NKVD is infiltrated it picks one of two *technically different* outcomes with an 80-20 weighting, again based on the random seed. So if the random seed for your playthrough says you "roll" a 60, then you will fail if the NKVD is not infiltrated but you will succeed if it is (and this is constant across reloads), because the random seed is being passed through two different weightings. That's my understanding anyway, happy to listen to how you understand it working and why it's different to my understanding.

It's easier to explain that way and since from my experiments savescumming the coup is impossible it might not be the most accurate but it gets my point across.

I did this pretty easily as Italy when I did the stresa front. No civil wars in Germany and no soviets to steal all the war score.

BBA adds Take Navy and the extra demand underneath puppet function. Without the DLC you can't take navies, demand war reps, demilitarise industry or add a demilitarised zone.
