It took me AGES to find 1. The actual red filters from hks (not the imitation ones) and 2. It took me even longer to find a good video. Definitely a new sub. Happy to see you still upload regularly. Will tune in more often!

@@phothrottle haha same! I got a JDM imported redtop beams and my whole colour scheme is black , red , white. So I'll definitely be getting the red replacement.

Nice. The other nice thing about the red filters is they are wet elements. Meaning if you live in a dry climate like I do, they are more efficient.

@@phothrottle yes, I noticed. They'll definitely be a great replacement for me :) Just ordered 2 after searching for hours to get an official HKS dealer in my country lol! They're quite hard to find...

The new filters are relatively inexpensive so I replace them annually.

Do they actually sound any different than regular 3” intakes?

You can definitely hear the turbos more.

I would just put the old one into my washing machine and reuse hahaha
