As a mechanic, he is right about the yellow dot and typically lining it up with the valve but, if you use a road force balancer, you will find sometimes you need to rotate the tire on the rim to a different spot to get the best balance. Also those wheels are 🔥🔥🔥 They look so good!

Is removing the end link and the other side of the sway bar the “secret” to keeping the axel from slipping out? I’ve seen people run into the axel coming out and having to replace the seal but haven’t seen a video where the remove both of the items mentioned. Video Min. 4:39

  • @phothrottle

Yes that is the way we didn't it and we had no issues. Of course you would use caution and always keep an eye in the seal. It's a petty straight forward install.

Car brothers from another mother! My white 2023 Mazda 3 Turbo is also running RSR coilovers and Spoon rigid collars. I found your RSR coiler adjustment video helpful to adjust my own coilovers. I'm the first 4th gen Mazda 3 outside of Japan to run either of those 2 mods, and I helped introduce the rigid collars to the North American Mazda 3 community. The collars on their own do make a huge difference on the Mz3. The ride is more supple and dampens out the rear torsion beam, but makes the car feel a tighter in steering and handling. Super popular mod on our cars now. I think the more mass market a car is, the bigger the difference these collars make. A Type R with smaller tolerances and stiffer bushings from the factory will probably have a lesser effect.
