@@ninja_adw yet for some reason the second highest exit velo that Will tracked is with a besr bat and only less by like .3 of a mph.

3:38 might be the most satisfying bomb in channel history, absolutely crushed and the ball's flight path perfectly lined up with the camera angle

Watching this channel makes me realize how much less money pitchers spend compared to hitters.

I love watching you guys do bat reviews. I have watched you for 3 years now and I was wondering if I could come out to swing some bats with you.

This bat is the real deal. Hot right out of the wrapper. Went to ball park to test it out with my 14yr old son and the kid was hitting bombs! His line drives were visibly faster and more powerful. I have a feeling every kid on his team is going to want to use this bat. He is was using the Cat9 Connect and hit really well with it. However the Easton Hype Fire is on a another level.

At my 12u World Series last year, they made us hit with the Easton hype comp without it being broken in on 275 fields with wind blowing back in. 3 total home runs hit out of 40+ kids for the home run derby

​@@hutch1910 easy... durability. Most kids can get a good one piece alloy bat and get 2 seasons out of it without much fuss. I have seen high schoolers kill $500+ in wood bats in an afternoon of BP getting ready for a lumber only tourney. Come backers happen... velos are not anywhere near the mid-late 90s its a flup on the durability in big league... dense wood bats are able to handle the much harder baseballs and avg pitch velos where a bbcor bat is gonna be dented or broken real quick with anything durable enough being a glorified piece of pipe youd never use vs the wood option

i went to george fox for baseball camp in middle school and i had a nice homer over right. one of my best memories playin there.

you guys should try the proxr switch, it's an attachment that goes on the end of a metal bat to make it feel like a proxr knob.

if you ever come to Az i’d be glad to be the kid the tests it out i’ve never swung a hype fire

my teamates got this bat as a team bat for tourneys and when i swung this beast in bp it was cranking. my freind also hit a grand slam otf 250 as a 10 year old size is 29/19 -10

Sounds like the Easton Ghost for fastpitch softball. Extremely hot bat out of the wrapper but will crack/break within a few times of using it.

Have you guys thought about doing a review on some of the trainer bats. Maybe like the cam wood bat or the pro velocity bat? Just wondering.

I am a big proponent of Little League, High School and College baseball going back to wood bats. It is getting to the point now with newer technology these bats are becoming very dangerous for a pitcher, third baseman, first baseman. This happened more when I was playing with metal bats we were allowed 34” bats that weighed 30oz. I saw some nasty injuries while playing. I get it the kids want to hit the balls for distance. When I was playing in adult baseball leagues we had Jose Canseco playing in our league right after he retired using these light metal bats. Our third baseman was playing in short left field when he was batting. I played with wood starting in Little League and High School. Adult hardball leagues with metal and wood. Now most all adult leagues are back to wood bats with metal and composite bats being banned.

It’s still a mistery to me why on earth college ball in US is allowed to use metal bats…. even in most of Europe 18+ means wood bats except for Sunday leagues….

Weight and material don't mean anything. It's the regulation that matters. Bbcor is regulated to perform like wood. The new issue is that balls are much hotter because players are swinging more for power than ever so balls need to be more durable, but more durable balls mean hotter balls, so it's a wash and flat seam balls FLY. The bats are fine now. When you played there was no regulation, only a gentleman's agreement to adhere to 1.15 bpf standard which nobody listened to, but now only kids are allowed to use bats of that performance to balance out offense and defense

Come a long way from the metal bats I use to use. Ours were essentially two pieces of plumbing pipe welded together from HomeDepot :)

For reference, we have a couple -5 CF Zens and CatX Comps with ~500 swings on them. The durability on this one is likely gonna be a problem unfortunately

It’s just as good as any other top bat in the USSSA 1.15BPF market. DeMarini, Marucci, Dirty South, Louisville, Easton etc…..

utrips are supposed to be hot, but I didn't realize they could be THAT hot... bugger me! If they dropped the heat a smidge and somehow managed a little more lifetime to that bat, it'd definitely be top 3 utrip ever.

Hype is less durable and the catx composite is more durable although the hype is hotter in -8 same for catx so yeah

You say it's super warm, like 75°? Haha. When I was 11 or 12 we played double and sometimes triple headers in 105°+ at state tournaments in Moses Lake. If it was a triple we would have a game or two in the evening after a break tho.

Watched a 13u kid today golf swing one out of BLD! Not even close to a good hit, any other bat and it's a pop out to center and it just kept going and going and going lol hottest bat I have seen and I seen alot of green Zens in the past no where close
